Hey all, this forum is an absolute gold mine of information, and thanks for all the wonderful information everyone offers here. I head up the sales and marketing for my company, and we are going to be putting together an affiliate program. From a merchants perspective, what are the best networks to be involved with, and basically what advice could you offer for putting the program together, promotions etc... we have our tracking software and coding together, and have our commission structure finalized, as well as our marketing support. Its almost ready for launch, but I wanted to hear from the seasoned professionals around here about how to make sure everything goes smoothly, and some of the best ways to make this a win-win situation. Thanks! |

I think that you should contact some good networks. Try Neverblue, EWA, Clickbooth and COPEAC. Contact them, explain what product/service you offer and they will give you more info. William

I'd recommend Convert2Media as well. They're big on anti-fraud.

Hey, yeah WF is a great place!! I mean it really depends on what you are looking to achieve and what type of product service you have. You say affiliate program so I'm not sure if you mean you have a traditional product or if you are just looking to buy leads...which is more on the CPA side. The reason I ask is because a CPA network is different from a traditional affiliate network, although admittedly some networks carry both CPL and CPS offers. Also your scale will also help determine where you should head. Some networks have threshold requirements and others may be too small for you to even bother. Perhaps if you can share some more info on what you are looking for, we can help point you in the right direction. And lastly, congrats on beefing up the internet marketing prong of your marketing strategy....it can really make your company explode if done properly, have seen it many times! Best, Ken

If it's pay per sale, (which that is what it looks like), you may want to check out commission junction too. They're huge and they do require a deposit to get going and a 12 month contract, but they also have a lot of affiliates in their system. Linkshare and Shareasale are also good for pay per sale sites. One thing about Commission Junction, make sure your system can handle coupons as some of the biggest affiliates on CJ are running coupon sites. |

it all depends on the product and the offer. what i would do is ask around to each network and find out what the top 5 PPS offers are... if anything is close to your offer in price and stuff then go for that one. keypoint you want the network that has people who want your offer |

I agree with PPC Coach here...CJ, Shareasale, Linkshare are great choices to look at. Its important to stick with reputable networks that have massive affiliate armies and that are run properly. Wishing you luck man! ~ken
