Hi everyone, I am new to this Forum, any ideas or feedback is highly appreciated!

I own a free sms website in Mexico, it is mainly used by mexicans.

I currently have a freemium model (Free service / Paid Premium service)

As with most freemium website most people use the free service (Ad Supported).

In the free service site:
I currently get 40k unique visitors a day and Approximately 750k unique visitors a month.
I currently have adsense and yieldmanager banners in this section of the site, but the revenue is not as high as I would like.

I am working on new business models to increase the revenue in my website, do you have any ideas? or any resources that you could suggest me to read?

I don't know if adsense is allowed in such kind of website .
you can monetize your website with cpa but you need to apply and get approved ..i recommend you azoogle ads or neverblue ..you can use cpalead also .

Send out a weekly newsletter with news, updates, how to tips and include some advertisements. For the start, use affiliate banners but try to spread the word that you have a huge email list interested for tech related products ( or anything else )

However, before you do that, make sure that

- Email all your users and ask them to verify that are interested to receive the newsletter with the tips , tools
- Create different subject of interests, let them decide what content they want to receive
- Be persistant and patient, it works

you should try CPA try to get approval from there. azoogle and neverblue both networks will gonna awesome for you.

Your best bet is placing adsense ads. If you go for CPA ads, as Poolwarrior said, I would advise you to go for CPAleads network or adangler. Neverblue and maxbounty are very demanding.

Maybe you could sell ad spaces to local companies. CPALead could make you some money, but there is a chance that people consider the content locker annoying and don't return to your site.

You can also check AdsMarket to see if they have some offers for your country.
