Default Text Ads and T202

Hi I am a new user of T202 and I wonder do you all add all of your text ads into T202, it seems its gonna take me ages to do this as I have so many different ads.

It says in the T202 panel that if you have a lot of ads you can skip this part but I'm interested in others opinions of whether its worth me doing this.

Cheers

Maty

It depends on what platform you're using. Are you using search, content network, social or what?

Hi William

I am using search and I guess the answer is yes if I want to track which ad text was responsible for the sale but I have a lot of ad variations, 4 ads for each keyword.

There doesn't seem to be a quick way to add them like in Ad Editor.

I guess I could track the keywords in T202 and the Ad ctr in the Adwords interface - is this what people do or have I gone overboard with the amount of ad variations?

Well, I usually have 2 ads running simultaneously per keyword on search and take the time to add all of them to P202. However, I do admit that tracking keywords and landing pages is more important when it comes to conversion rate. The most important number that's directly related to your ads is your CTR, which you can control without P202.

So if you think that it's too much work just track the keywords and landers.

Thanks for this William, it's a shame that there isn't a bulk uploader which works like the Adwords Editor but there you go.

Maybe I would take the time to add all of the ads but this is my first ppc campaign and everything has taken such a long time that I'm becoming impatient and want to move onto the next project I have in mind, uploading 4 ads for each of 200 odd keywords is going to be a royal pain, one I will give a miss this time.

Thanks again!
