Has anyone had any issues with this? It recently occurred to me while running offers with a smaller network. The advertiser did not like the quality of my leads for their dating site, despite the fact that most of my leads were 25+ female (this segment was particularly requested by the advertiser). I feel like I was singled out because of the high-quantity I was doing. My quality really couldn't get much better. |

Did the advertisers contact you directly? If not... Try rotating urls with different networks and see what they say, either the smaller network is chincing you, or for some reason it isn't the quality they want (no idea why it wouldn't be as you stated you are sending them what they said they wanted). I've had issues with tracking, never had an issue with this, though I have been "checked" for quality before , too many scammers out there...Other then that, I dunno, Good luck, David |

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I don't like jumping around between networks so much, but sometimes it's necessary. I've started being proactive about asking my AMs to check the quality before I proceed to scale a campaign up. They're usually able to do this once you hit a 100 leads or so. | |

Sometimes the advertiser is not serious... Some guys say that your leads are not good just because they don't want to pay you or simply because you are doing too much volume (why don't they use a lead cap?). Of course, sometimes the leads can be really bad, so you need to analyze each case individually. Try to run the same campaign for another offer and see what happens. It should help you determine the real quality of your leads. William

Dating sites usually want the volume so I wouldn't say it's the volume that is a problem. Dating sites will also usually pay out on leads that don't work out for them - they will simply ask you to stop sending them traffic. It just might be your leads are not converting for them. Dating sites can usually tell within 7-10 days if your leads are going to work for them or not. Just curious if you don't mind me asking and you don't have to answer if you don't want to but how many leads did you send them? For how long did you send them? And when did they tell you they were not working out. Also, as I said before Dating Sites usually pay out even if the leads don't work for them unless you sent a HUGE amount and none of them converted for the dating site - then they might say it's fraud and won't pay out at all. But it sounds to me as if you were sending legit leads and maybe it just didn't pan out. I don't recommend you hop on another network and promote the same offer/dating site. I recommend you find another dating offer to promote altogether because simply going to another network and promoting the same thing is going to get you in the same boat you are in now. Brian |

If your traffic isn't converting for the advertiser, even if it is all from legit sources, they will want to stop paying you for it.

Remember that there is always a little posturing that goes on when you start pushing decent volume. The advertiser and yoruself try and feel each other out to get better terms on there end. At least there is communication going on and not some closed door shaving. If you are pushing a lot of volume, split test and find another advertiser (if possible). If your lead quality is good, then the advertiser should be fighting for you not against you! ~Ken |

This is very common with lead gens, and particularly with dating. Many advertisers are very strict on quality, which is measured by the number of your leads that become paying customers.

Did the network have a direct relationship with the advertiser? Who is the advertiser? Theres a good chance your traffic didnt work for them because they dont know how to monetize their traffic, and they are blaming you for it. |
