Leadbolt the new CPALead?

Over the past few weeks I've heard the name Leadbolt come up often and a few friends in the industry have asked me what I think of them. I don't do a whole lot on the incent side but I've only been hearing great things about them and I've heard many people have been dissatisfied with CPALead recently.

Getting in on new platforms and software in this industry can be a game changer. So what do you all think of Leadbolt and do you think it will start taking over CPALead's marketshare?

Would like to especially hear from people currently usign Leadbolt!

They're coming up pretty good - I know one of the owners and they are nice guys. CPA Lead is totally falling apart in my eyes, I mean, how could a network ban 15,000 affiliates without reason?

Actually we're doing great and we're even giving away a Maserati for a party we're throwing this January at our office in Vegas.

If you heard complaints about us, it's probably complaints from our competitors not being able to gain real traction in this market.

Ryan, if you're at the top some day, you'll have haters nipping at your toes trying to spread rumors about you too.

I believe Ryan is at the top, and has been for quite a while.

Complaints are coming from your real publishers. CPALead started to turn the head for spam traffic, but once they started going down the drain, you got stricter. Just doesn't seem right.

Leadbolt is improving but they still aren't anywhere near the level CPALead was in their prime. IMO it's because LeadBolt has no easy way to customize gateways. Also, when CPALead was doing great, Facebook was getting spammed to death with the auto invite pages with gateways on them. I haven't seen any page with working auto invite code in a while.

Dan "CPALEAD IN THEIR PRIME" is like "Zynga's Farmville/Scamville in its Prime"

Basically it was an exploit... it was EASY then... The Formula for success was put a Mobile Rebill offer on an offer wall and have script kiddies exploit FB users.

Two things have happened since. (1) Mobile Advertisers wont accept many sources of traffic including Movie/Adult. (2) Facebook looks closely for these exploits and nurfs them REAL quick.

so this "prime" is over... and CPALEAD got burned real bad... they didnt pay several hundred thousand to their affiliates because they ddint read TOS.

its more difficult now.... so CPALEAD folded their adult business... we still maintain ours because our system is built to be keep advertisers happy and ecpms as high as possible.

Yes, it was super scammy, but if I had had the skills to exploit Facebook like some of the people on there were doing, I would have done it in a heart beat, ethics be damned.

And I didn't realize you could customize gateways with Leadbolt. The only reason I would think customized gateways would help is because people integrate them to look like they are part of Facebook. I don't actually run any Facebook stuff any more, because Facebook is quick to ban pages with gateways on them.

Mike @ Leadbolt and the other company owners...can you give us some idea where you see the opportunies in the content gateway space heading in the near future? ...or what is working well now for other affiliate?

I Think in terms of widgets and how to insert it on your websites for movies, ebooks password protected files, Cpalead is still the best as they are pioneers in the industry and you can get many tutorials on youtube but as for leadbolt I am not sure as I don't see their offers on the websites and they never really show a tutorial like cpalead does on the various widgets to be placed on your websites, files or ebooks download links.

I really hope Leadbolt would at least do a step by step tutorial on how to create a download gateaway just for ebooks or files for newbies like me

It is easy to place the content locker on a website but people just have to view the source code to get the download link.

Any help on the above would be very much appreciated as I believe CPA Lead is not trustworthy enough on the conversion rate. Something fishy going on i think.

I've been working with Leadbolt for a while now. They have impressed me greatly. My epcs are higher than they were with CPALead and my AM is excellent. Of course they also always pay on time and dont arbitrarily ban people which is always good.

Way to go Leadbolt! You have my vote for Content Lock Leader. Definitely better than CPAlead without a doubt.

Copying a major social networks GUI is a big no no... i know some networks do this but its only a matter of time before their IP is blacklisted or they get a call from facebook's legal in mountainview. i've had this experience and its not something I'd wish on anyone.

Leadbolt allows custom gateway. We hope to have a solution so users can upload and we can QUICKLY review them....

* Facebook Viral Pages
* Movie Pages
* WEBMASTER Premiums . Some websites offer premiums like if you complete a lock we'll have this 1GB file download in 3x speed.
* NO Content Media Buys... Some usesrs are using our creative set to buy directly from banner to lock. This isnt a banned "False Promise Stratgey" because the users are just going to mostly file sharing sites. Creating a DOWNLOAD BANNER and sending them to gamevance type offers. This works quite well.
* Content Users WANT... i've seen so many creative ideas... Essay webpages for school is a personal favorite.

I cant begin to describe how shamefully disappointing i am with CPALead. they have really let the people who provide them there business down and to great lengths.

On the upside however, it has given a chance for rising networks to really flourish and develop from such a massive companies mistakes.

there can be cause for concern if your IP doesnt match where you say you are from ... however we usually still approve it and just keep an extra eye on these suspects

it typically takes 24 to be approved.

Mike have you thought of including Payoneer as a payment method? I would suggest concidering this possibility and I'm sure this will attract many more affiliates. It's a great payment solution and I think all networks should have it.

CPALead is still doing amazing for me as well as most people I talk to but they are strict since they do not allow copyrighted material but the earnings/EPCs are much higher with CPALead.

Leadbolt is good for movie sites and adult. You can monetize anything with them. They are untouchable.

I Think in terms of widgets and how to insert it on your websites for movies, ebooks password protected files, Cpalead is still the best as they are pioneers in the industry and you can get many tutorials on youtube but as for leadbolt I am not sure as I don't see their offers on the websites and they never really show a tutorial like cpalead does on the various widgets to be placed on your websites, files or ebooks download links. I really hope Leadbolt would at least do a step by step tutorial on how to create a download gateaway just for ebooks or files for newbies like me It is easy to place the content locker on a website but people just have to view the source code to get the download link. Any help on the above would be very much appreciated as I believe CPA Lead is not trustworthy enough on the conversion rate. Something fishy going on i think.

They have impressed me greatly. My epcs are higher than they were with CPALead and my AM is excellent. Of course they also always pay on time and dont arbitrarily ban people which is always good. Way to go Leadbolt! You have my vote for Content Lock Leader. Definitely better than CPAlead without a doubt.

I cant begin to describe how shamefully disappointing i am with CPALead. they have really let the people who provide them there business down and to great lengths. On the upside however, it has given a chance for rising networks to really flourish and develop from such a massive companies mistakes. Leadbolt is definitely one of them

I would suggest concidering this possibility and I'm sure this will attract many more affiliates. It's a great payment solution and I think all networks should have it. P.S. CPALead is still doing amazing for me as well as most people I talk to but they are strict since they do not allow copyrighted material but the earnings/EPCs are much higher with CPALead. Leadbolt is good for movie sites and adult. You can monetize anything with them. They are untouchable.
