How to use the suppression list/file and where to place the unsubscribe link

Good day!

I am a noob when it comes to CPA yet I chose the email marketing method because I have a huge source of email lists. But before I send an offer to my list, I saw a requirement wherein I should download the suppression file/list and below is an unsubscribe link.

My question is how will I use this suppression file and where should I place this unsubscribe link?

You answers will be highly appreciated.

What system are you using to mail your lists? You would typically download the unsubscribe list from your network/advertiser, then upload it to whatever email system you are using to ensure that you are NOT mailing the names on the suppression list. When downloading the creatives from your network/advertiser, the unsubscribe link should be included in the creative package. If it's not, it's required and should be at the bottom of the email creatives. Good luck!

Thanks Dan! I am planning to use getresponse. Any ideas on how to upload the suppression list on getresponse?

I'm not familiar with GetResponse, but I'm sure they have some sort of tutorial walk through or customer service aspect where they can help you get started.

The suppression file contains emails that you should remove from your list before send email campaigns promoting the offer. I don't use GetResponse, but I think that you can find out how to do it with them by making a quick research on Google.

Just want to ask if email systems like GetResponse and AWeber are required when promoting offers by email?

Can I just manually compare the suppression list against my email list and take out those already on the suppression list?
