Beware of Amazon Associates!

I've been claiming one payment from Amazon Associates for my commissions for around 3 months because I never received the check.

My address is Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America.

Yesterday they sent a photocopy of my check: It had been cashed in Italy, Europe, where somebody did a false signature to endorse it.

Either they sent my check to the wrong country and continent or somebody stole it.

When I gave a call to Amazon Associates support they said they couldn't do anything because the check had been already paid.

In addition Amazon sent my check to the wrong country, where somebody signed it with my name and made it cash!

Wrong country, wrong continent, wrong person: What can I do?

It's a terrible feeling and a ridiculous mistake from Amazon. However, I don't know if there is too much to be done. It's a high amount you may want to take legal action, but it's complicated since you don't live in the US...

Contact them and make sure that it won't happen in the next time, or simply stop working with them and start working with other companies... It's sad, but I don't think that there is too much that you can do (maybe somebody has an idea?).

O man, that is not fair. This is one problem of internet business; it is difficult to fight for your rights.
