It's funny that almost all the posts I read have wonderful "got your material, looks great..." testimonials but no one ever comes back and says exactly how much money they've made from the product. Even the people that post that they will return and let us know how they're doing...NEVER do. If there are pages of comments and weeks have gone by since the original post SOMEONE should be able to post actual results. I would love to hear from anyone that actually bought a product that worked. Thanks everyone. |

Most people don't want to talk about their income in public places like this.

I think personally that a lot of the testimonials on most sites are fake anyways. Could you give us an example?

Wouldn't we all like to see those testimonials? Most testimonials are posted because someone got a review copy, someone read the first few pages or scanned an ebook and thinks it "could work". That's reality. One reason is simply that it takes time to go through the steps and get results with a method or product. Many who buy products will never use them - others will not have good results. If a product is very profitable, why go back and tell others who didn't take the chance you took? But also, on the rare occasion when someone does post "I made $$$ with this" they are inundated with questions of "how did you do it" and "what exactly did you do"? The only way to choose what to buy is to evaluate the seller (if on this forum you can look at past threads/posts/history here) - decide if the claims make sense or are too good to be true. And - is this something that will fit into what you are currently working on? Or does this product take you in a totally different direction? Honestly, there are members here who seem to give a glowing review of WSOs every other day - do you think they really use those products? Personally, I ignore any review that is not posted by someone I know and trust. I don't care who you say you are - if I don't know you and your work I won't rely on you for my own decision. More people should do that. That doesn't mean I don't buy the product - just that I make the decision without considering testimonials. My favorite testimonials are the ones that say "I love all of your products and I always buy them" - and then I notice that all the "products" are about how to make money. If one of them works - why would you need them all? Sort of like diet plans, isn't it?You are right someone "should" be able to post about results. However, they have no obligation to do it. The bigger question is why spend a lot of time reading sales pages? There is no need to keep buying one product after another as there are no silver bullets. When you buy a product, use it fully and you may not need to buy another for a long time. kay |

Yep, it stinks but it's the way it is. I am guilty of it myself. I don't think I have purchased a WSO or product and came back to review once I have implemented. If you are just speaking about WSOs, one thing you can do is directly contact previous buyers and ask them personally how they like the product now that they've had it for X long. For example, if a WSO came out 2 months ago, look who commented in the beginning that said they purchased it and pm them directly. Keep in mind that many people will tell you they read the product but havent actually implemented it. Try and find somebody who says they fully implemented the product and their review will be more valuable.

We even offer free training and only a handful of affiliates take us up on it and actually use it so far. There is no magic bullet - pick a traffic source and a niche and stick to it until you profit. Know it like the back of your hand - work hard and the money will come.

Nope...unless I'm cynical in my young age! The last thing people who start making money think to do is to search for the WSO thread of the product to go write a review. What if it was mandatory to write a review 2 months after buying a product or your WF gets locked....that would be interesting huh!
