does anyone know a good way to promote free ipad zip submits?

Since it's a fairly broad offer - it works in a lot of different ways. I've had some success promoting them on Facebook (if you can get the ads through) and PoF as well. They do really well on PPV and they can do well on any traffic source really.

Personally I prefer PPV for email/zip submits of any kind.

Well the easiest would be Apple for promotion

Isn't PPV a bit tricky to use? Also are you allowed to link directly to the offer or do you need a landing page?

I promote email/zip submits with polls (PPC), but there are many different ways to promote this type of offer.

You can direct link to the offers - but I have a lot more success using landing pages.

Not sure what you mean by tricky - there's no traffic source that doesn't take some work and testing.

If you want to take it a step further, I'd build a email list before you send your traffic to the offer

I was wondering about that too if $1-2.50/lead offers are worth promoting using PPV.

Yes Definitely they are! But before you go for that$1 - $2 Dollar Email submit offers consider searching on Offervault for those that pay $2.6

They are many nowadays.
