I want to thank everyone in advance for their time and information. I'm a complete newbie and it's cool to see so many people willing to give of their time and knowledge... ![]() I'm the owner of a publishing company - a company with a foot off-line and another online. We've got an amazing new novel - it's explosive, topical and with some publicity behind it (CNN, FOX). We've converted it to an eBook, and so now we're looking for an affiliate network/s to promote. We've got our own Online Bookstore, so the eBook will be downloaded. The book becomes incredibly relevant in the US come Jan '11, however we want to get a jump start now! We want to go huge here! We're looking for at least 10 000 marketers to begin with. I have three questions: 1) Who are the best agencies to approach? 2) Anything I should watch out for when dealing with these companies? 3) What kind of turnaround time can I expect to get the campaign up and running? Thanks, guys! |

If it's only an eBook (no pyshical product), I also think that Clickbank would be good. It'll cost you $50 (if it hasn't changed since the last time I saw) to list your product on their market place and they will also pocket a fee on each and every sale. Another alternative is PayDotCom. I don't think that CPA networks would be a good solution in this case, but you can try to contact some of them as well. William

If you have an online store I think a good option would be an in-house affiliate program. ________ VAPIR OXYGEN |

Clickbank, Paydotcom, PayLoadz or Plimus, they should be more suitable for your business.

Incredibly relevant starting Jan 2012.... My guess is its a 1 year countdown to the end of mankind...2012! I mean what are you exactly looking to do? If you just want leads and want to promote the book yourself on the backend, then CPA/CPL is a good model. If you want affiliates to promote the actual book, then it will be a traditional affiliate program where you can hook up with a digital product affiliate network or setup in-house. Depending on the topic it also may make sense to find your own affiliates. Scour the web for the top 100-200-etc web spaces aroudn your topic and approach the owners directly! Good luck...and if my guess above is right, let me know. If 2012 is really the end, I'm signing off Warrior Forum, closing down my business and moving to Bermuda for the next year! | |
