Hi, I hope there are porn webmasters in here. I just posted a reply to Max's thread and felt energized.... So, I have an adult blog that I run as a hobby (I know what you think..).I host the blog on godaddy. The thing about godaddy is..they cap the number visitors you can have at one time at 200 visitors. According to google analytics, my visitors are: 5,000+ a month visits 12,000 page views average time: 4:50 mins Now, remember, godaddy caps my visitors at 200 people at the same time. I find a 500 internal server error message when trying to access my website MANY TIMES. That means I can have more visits if godadddy doesn't have any cap of my visitors. I rotate 4 banners (4 different offers) and I earned $21 last month from 2 adult dating sites. I'm switching all my banners now as you see they're not converting very well. Does anybody ever have success with maxbounty, etc cpa campaigns? I'm thinking about switching banners to email submit cpa for free ipad/iphone/flat screen tv.... Does anybody have a similar website in the same market? (porno videos) and how do you monetize? I hope you don't mind sharing even though I'm competing with you. Don't worry sir/madam, I'm just a small pond in the fish *bows*. This blog is just a hobby.... Thank you in advance..I'm pretty sure I have other questions, but off to changing my banners.... Btw...I have checked google on how to monetize porn traffic but there's no information about it at all, probably it's a good niche to tap into?? |

I have seen some guys doing good promoting male enhancement offers on TrafficJunky. When I tried this myself I couldn't get profitable, but maybe you should try to use this alternative. Also, when I was analyzing the competition to start my campaigns on TrafficJunky I noticed a guy that was pushing a lot of volume to his own product. I probably picked his URL and saved in a txt file, so I can try to find it and send it to you so that you can contact him and maybe partner. I think that his product was selling very well. If you're interested just send an email to william at newestmarketing dot com and I'll get back to you. William

Nick, I don't put any effort whatsoever on this blog. As I said on the postings this was a hobby...but the traffic is good because it's porn. But yea, I'll try to do some cpa campaigns for a couple of days and see how it goes, I might switch hosting to bluehost or something if I see some more money coming in that'll motivate me.

I'm not an adult webmaster but from what I hear a lot of adult webmasters are doing well with content locking. This is just an idea of mine. You may want to try promoting a really good full length video at the top of your site (I mean really promote it and say something like "watch the best new full-length video on the web" or something like that). Then lock the content when they click on that page. I'm pretty sure Lead Bolt accepts adult websites, but you may want to check just to make sure. It's a good content locking CPA network. Quote:

if i were you i would only advertise 2 types of offers. niche dating, rotate different niches(emo, christian, asian etc) and then bigger p*nis offers if it is a straight blog.

I was going to make a joke about the visitor time on yoru porn site but I wont stoop that low (eeek, i think I just did). In any event, yes check out leadbolt content gateway...that may be a good way to monetize yoru adult site. I am not in the adult industry but I've heard they convert great. Unfortunately I dont think many people in your neck of the woods hang out here. Wishing you best of luck man!

Hey, how did you get on with finding a good banner substitution? I'm also involved in the adult industry somewhat but on the opposite side having a product and trying to decide which is the best Affiliate Network to list it with. I'd be interested to hear how you got on.

Hey warriors! Even if your blog is a hobby, but hobby can earn money. Most successfull IM as earning money with their hobbies. Move to another hosts that can handle your traffic, I think most sharing hosting out there are enough. Contact each incentived networks and ask if they accept adult/porn traffics. Lock Video or Lock Page. I think it'll convert better. Otherwise, do as above warriors said is another ways round! |

Godaddy is the absolute worst place to host an adult site. They are extremely restrictive, and could actually give you a hard time in the long run if you get bigger. If you are looking to monetize, we have an adult version of our site at DasAdult.com and you can PM me, or sign-up in my signature and I'll give you the best options for your blog. |

Porn on GoDaddy? Is that allowed? Hostgator allows adult, but if you're not using Wordpress then one of the adult hosters would be better. Read all T&C's of advertisers as many sites don't want their ads on your porn site. There are zillions of advertisers who are OK with porn. Porn can still make $$$$ but you need massive traffic in broad niches, or fanatical followers of a pretty specific niche. |

The best route for you is to sign up as an affiliate - either promoting adult dating or gambling products. In terms of gambling products - poker, casino - some of the companies are more prudish than others over affiliates with adult content sites. But if you go to other adult sites (its market research don't worry!), you'll get an idea of what companies are likely to turn a blind eye by seeing which of them buys pop-unders.

Adult dating sites would work well. I say you build a list with the visitors you are getting and give them a special promotion once per month or something like that. From my past experience, uploading the best videos and pictures you can charge a monthly membership fee of like $1 - $29.99 per month. the lower the better and the more people you'll keep but otherwise use dating offers.

Whatever you do, at its most basic level its about CPA x conversion rate - not just grabbing the highest rate!
