Hello Everyone, RIght I have now setup prosper 202 on one of my old websites all is well excpet I cant for the life of me work out how to track a split tested campaign. I have a campaign on facebook. Within this campaign I have 5 adverts with exact copies except I have split down the age ranges. I know how to generate a link within prosper. My question is how do I A: Let propser know that there are 5 adverts in this campaign with different age ranges. I wish to know wihich one is doing best. As at the moment it is only showing the campaign as a whole. B: How does prosper know when someone has converted? Can it track the prospect through to the purchase page? |

A. The easiest way is treat the age ranges as keywords. Just add the age range where you would place the keyword and you should be ok. B. You need to use a tracking pixel or postback URL. It depends on the network, so contact your affiliate manager to know how to proceed. William

Hi William, Thanks for your help. With regard to adding it as a keyword. Am I right in thinking where the url has been produced you place it after the kw= so it would be kw=20-30 If I wished to track that age range? Thanks |

Hi guys right now im so lost with prosper 202. Im split testing a facebook add with different age ranges. My question is how do I track which add has performed better using prosper202. My understanding is this. You setup your campaign. You enter the affiliate link produced from clickbooth (Im with them) You place this in prosper202 and it will generate a unique url. This URL is then placed into the destination field inside of the facebook add. Do I use the same url in all of the adds?? How does prosper know which add the click has come from if its the same URL? I have tried placing a 1 after the kw= But if I go onto spy view it shows no clicks for today, my only idea as to why is the URL is now no longer matching the original. What am I doing wrong lol I know its something simple |

Not sure about what's wrong... You should place, for example, 1 after "kw=" and then P202 will treat your number as a keyword. If you are doing this and it's not working chances are that you didn't set up your campaign properly (are you direct linking or using a landing page?). Try to review the set up process to make sure that you're not doing anything wrong. William

Hi William, Thanks for your reply. I know I have the clickbooth url correct as their own tracking has picked up the clicks. So the HOP works. I have the set the url in the facebook as test ad kw=2 control ad kw=1 Now in my campaign setup in prosper it mentions that you can place tracking place holders after the clickbooth url. At present I have nothing do I need to set any of these? If so how or what should I place after the clickbooth url |

Not really Im direct linking at the mo. Im just getting my feet wet on PPC really. So PHP code wont help. I have just watched a video. Think the reason it wont track as I didnt add the subid code that gets generated in clickbooth. I will give that ago. |

Here is where Im at now. I hope this is correct. I have re generated the code form click both and the url now has the subid at the end so it looks like this vkwl/&subid1= Now do I change this code to this vkwl/&subid1=[subid] in step 3 of prosper? So when I generate the prosper code I place the same code in all of the same ads with different age ranges. but in each of the ads I would place a unique number after so I know that it come from that particular ad? i.e kw=1 (ad1) kw=2 (ad2) etc Any help much appreciated |
