Unsubscribe Rate

Hi all!

Need to pick your collective brains as I'm new to this.

I'm growing a list via mobile marketing on ad platforms in the weight loss niche...I started a new lead gen campaign last Friday and am up to around 600 subscribers as of end of play today (Monday, UK)

Was split testing two ads...I started off with text only, and seemed to have low CTR and a low unsubscribe rate, but when I started with banner creative I got a higher repsonse rate but also a higher unsubscribe rate (both landed on the same squeeze page)

Currently had 531 new subscribers today, yesterday was 106, giving a total of 637.

I have had 121 unsubscribes so far- is this a normal rate in anyones experience?

Or should I be looking at standard of the autoresponse emails?

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated

Probably the banner ads are displaying on irrelevant sites. Banner ads show on content netowork sites and you should ensure that the sites that display your ads are those which have relevant content related to the weight loss niche. If you do not specify that in your ads campaign setting, your banners could be thrown to just any site.
