Al-Mukmin, putting aside my wacky analysis of MaxBounty, I don't think Canadians are that racist at all. Not from my experience.

But I do suspect the LAST POINT IS THE MAIN REASON. Many Malaysian Internet users are simply not aware of how their PCs became THE MOST NOTORIOUS HOSTS for DDS and SPAMS bots. Many opened every single email they received. lol. Malaysia is simply a heaven to Email Marketers and International Spam Bot Masters. Why don't they just update their Anti-Virus? hmm.

And if I have my own IM Network, "other than its my bloody right to accept and reject whomever I want to" ego factor, I think MaxBounty has some other finer business factors. They don't even have to explain. Probably it hurts, if they do.

Yeap, like Mark mentioned, they do allow Malaysian, you just have to take your phone, Skype, or whatever, to CALL THEM, get yourself verified.

Some of those networks out there are much more stricter than another. You just have to get into one or two, it's not that hard.

But all of you in here, you have to thank those Malaysian fellow (or any other Asian fellow) who play dirt to make those CPA networks AUTOMATICALLY filter out all application form which is being signed up from Malaysia.

Reason was because Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and few other Asian countries were too "godlike" in spamming, frauding, and sending lousy traffic to those CPA networks.

So, think twice before anyone of you who wanted to play dirt, don't harm the whole industry because of your own greed.

I get to know about these information because I was getting in touch with my AM last time, and he told me bout these. Shame on those who play dirt.

Anyway, there are a few Malaysians that I know who are doing quite well with CPAs. So it's NOT ABOUT YOUR NAME, they aren't racist, they don't hate anyone if those people can make them money. They just don't like fraudster, spammers, etc!

If you just submit your application as any other person living in the US or Europe you will get rejected, because you live in an area with high fraud incidence. However, if you call the network and explain what you are planning to do, what are your favorite verticals, how you drive traffic, etc I'm sure that many will accept you.

Don't give up all Malaysians...It's not tough to get approval

There are plenty of tips(sharing) at local forum like WC. I heard there'll be physical book focus about 100% CPA , to be available at the MPH, Popular bookstores very soon.

I am also from M'sia.
I was rejected by MaxBounty and Neverblue. I believe is because I didn't call them.
However, there are few good around such as Peerfly, Blamads(Best Incentive and up-to-date info network with large incent offers, love it), content unlocker like Leadbolt(Very user friendly,easy as 1,2,3 installation and effective) and CPAlead.

Other network also approved me are:
1.CPAbuck
2.Hapmedia
3.Google Affiliate Network

I think I focus all these already make me quiet handy.
I have come across certain forum advice us trying to apply as many as possible.

Just read through Warrior forum, you will have many invaluable tips to get 1 or 2 approval.

In fact, I was here to learn before. That's why I got few approval in hand.

Well, Maxbounty were stupid enough to generalize EVERY INDIAN. Man this sucks, but thats ok. There are several other networks we can work with.

Here is a very long-winded post to cover some points. Might be useful.

Malaysian-friendly CPA Networks
I'm approved by the same Networks, that approved you. Most Malaysians can forget about MaxBounty & NeverBlue. To them, Malaysians simply add no value to their business. True or not, you can figure out yourself. Just check the threads in WF, you'll see what I mean.

Peerfly, Axonmedia and Blamads have outstanding offers that converts. Cover major offers in many verticals. Leadbolt gives me the opportunity to monetize my content. Also converts.

Recently I was accepted by COPEAC. They made their decisions based on the websites I've made specially for IM and based on emails. I must say, COPEAC guys are outstanding. They go all out for you FROM THE FIRST HOUR and continued to several hours. They will match OFFERS that may work for your traffic. I'm very impressed.

Can't preview offers
Malaysians can't preview some CPA offers specific to UK, US and Canada. Their tracking scripts redirect us to a Smiley Central or browser fails. To evaluate the offers, you can use Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously . Its like a search engine. Nothing to install. Cut & paste the given offer links into the input box presented in Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously . Click submit. You will see the offers and evaluate them.

CPS Networks ( share commissions per sale )
Google Affiliate is different. You get commissions for selling products & at the same time, you get money after a certain number of clicks. Like a hybrid between CJ and Adsense. Fantastic products in there. Not as many as LinkShare or CJ, but the products were carefully selected by Google Aff Network. Quality ones.

I like LinkShare because their deep linking system and interface are so simple and easy to use. Very comfortable. Some products in LinkShare have better prices than Amazon. Unlike others, affiliates in LinkShare get private invitation offers based on your market channels (web sites). This is excellent.

I targeted some products in CJ but their merchants rejected me. Then I tried private CPA offers for the same, also got rejected. But I got approved from either LinkShare or GoogleAff Network for the same products.

Amazon has millions of products that covers LOTS OF NICHES. You can deep link products from each product page itself. No need to do it from the dashboard. Love this Amazon feature.

You can enrich your web sites with a combination of CPS & CPA. But is this the right thing to do to make money? Its really up to your biz direction and strategy.

One thing to bear in mind, Malaysians.
If you like certain products or got offers from merchants, YOU NEED TO EVALUATE THEM FIRST. Don't get too excited until you assess them using 4 criteria :
> Product Quality
> After sales Support
> Merchant Credibility
> Matches your direction

You will be surprised to see what you found out about many of them.

You don't need to buy to evaluate. Check about them via Google, Yahoo, Forums, BBB & Review Sites. Some products have fantastic sales page BUT users have major complaints about them or are extremely unhappy. Certain offers are very deceptive. Some merchants are very dubious, even though their products look exciting. Some products are rehashed products. Refunds are nearly impossible or even impossible despite the promised "X number of days money back guarantee". Most complaints come from US users and they are frank and very critical, which is good for everyone.

If you want to develop a credible image in IM, all the above are just suggestions. Its hard work and takes time but worth it. Biz Intelligence.

Traffic
To do product popularity tests and bring traffic at very low costs, EBAY is the WAY. I've sold quite a number of books. The recent buzz about FB traffic & its PPC is not exactly as it seems. You can also forget Twitter traffic.

I'm going to test PlentyOfFish before I head to other PPCs in smaller niche SEs. I can't afford Google anymore. Becoming too expensive.

Now I'm waiting for a Health Vertical approval from a CPA network. I'm really passionate about this with my background of 25 years in Alternative Remedy. I even lost 10 kg in just 4 months with a kitchen spice and by doing an ancient workout. Never been to a hospital or clinic (except dentists) during my working life.

I think I'll focus on the ones I have already, while waiting for one more approval.

I just hate phone calls - getting or making. Calls do not make sense when you can settle matters very comprehensively through AIM and emails. If its just a matter of verification, they can keep it.

Network Managers were exposed millions of times when dealing with people from all over the world. Their experience will let them know almost instantly whether an applicant is a scammer or a real person FROM A COUPLE OF EMAIL CORRESPONDENCES. Calls are unnecessary. Please tell me otherwise, if I'm wrong in this.

I have checked with Ben Louie. They accept Malaysians.

The problem is, Malaysia is not listed in the Registration Form. They don't even have Singapore inside the list. But they have Maldives, Vietnam and Afghanistan.

If the next time they update the form and have Laos, Mongolia and Kazakhstan but ignored Malaysia, someone in POF must've been jilted by his Malaysian girl-friend. heheheh

So I registered with FULL INFO inside the form and place Malaysia inside the street address.

For the drop down I put MALDIVES and the region is Aliff. Nice place to be when not monsoon season. heheheheh ... If I have to register again, I will choose Lebanon. Beautiful girls there. And the next will be Costa Rica, white sandy beaches.

Ben Louie did mention that it won't affect the payment. We'll see about it. Right now, I'm going through Mike Morgan's WSO on POF.

I am Malaysian as well, so I faced lots of trouble in the begining to join CPA networks . Big boys who rejected my application such as Maxbounty, Neverblue (both so tough for Malaysian), Revenuestreet (even I talked by phone with them), EWA private. Dont give up keep trying & use those tips for getting accepted by CPA networks.

Finally I was successfuly joined few good one which I recomend you guys to join.

1. Affiliate Cash Pile (lots of offers and good support) -
2. Axon Media (Fastest one that approved my application)
3. Asseenonpc (this one focus on As Seen On TV offers, made good income here)
4. Optimalfusion (a bit tough, I was rejected on first trial but I was approched by them again to join after they saw one of my blogs ranked high for an offer they have too)
5. Peerfly ( I got approved without phone call or skype, this one No 20 of the Top 20 CPA networks, they have lots of zip & email submits)
6. Heathconverter (focused on Health products CPA, good for free trials lover)

My focused now is As Seen On PC & Optimal Fusion (where my main income from).

My advise if you plan to join big CPA player, such Epic Direct (aka Azoogle), join small CPA network & make money. Then apply with those big player and show them screenshot of your income then they will consider your application. You wont need to pick phone & call, AIM & skype will do.

Plenty Of Fish is an online Dating website. The biggest in the world. Affiliates can advertise offers to their target markets - users - so accurate until their zip code.

Personally, I know that most users who regularly order certain apparels online come from 6 US states : California, Washington, New Jersey, New York, Florida & Texas.

So I can do a campaign that targets all the 6 states specifically. At the same time, I can target their age group, sort of work they do, their education level, gender, religion and ethnic groups ( & many more ).

Its like a pin-point accurate targeting. Not many places that can do this. Most importantly, Plenty Of Fish is Affiliate Marketing Friendly.

How abt PPV?

If you're familiar with PPV, please tell us all about it.

Personally, I find PPV ( if it means POP-UP & POP-UNDER ) as very annoying. I would not read it, I will just close it. If it means something else, please correct me.

I don't mind Interstitial. It is a way to support their website. But definitely not pop-up or pop-under. I have a very strong dislike towards these.

I prefer Content Locking because the visitors are given the choice. If they want it, they will proceed to complete the offer. If they don't, they will go elsewhere.

My story about Content Locking
I have a site full of scripts for download. The scripts extend features of applications made from a rapid development software. I received thousands of downloads each day. Quite high bandwidth. Been 3 years. Its free. In the page, I have adsense. I got very very small number of clicks. Really frustrating.

So I decided to Content Lock it recently. Some conversions but mostly from US, Canada & Western Europe. Visitors from elsewhere kept coming but they didn't complete the offer. They didn't go away either. Instead, they kept searching through my site looking for backdoors. ( I audit visitor movements from my Log File. )

I made 2 assumptions here:
> 1. POSITIVE : The Offers on the Content Locker Overlay only cater for certain countries. So some visitors were locked out, unwittingly.
> 2. NEGATIVE : They are just a ravenous lot. They want free but not wanting to give anything in return.

I can breakdown assumption no.2 further based on their regions. These are places where many people use PIRATED SOFTWARE COPIES for their own benefit. And some of them use my scripts on pirated copies of the rapid development software. No respect towards intellectual properties of other people's hardwork. I don't like this.

And when I stumbled across CPA Content Locking, it serves my purpose.

So, to resolve assumption no.1, based on Williamrs ( the CPA expert ) advice, I can use a PHP geo-plugin to redirect people to other places, IF THE OFFERS DO NOT CATER FOR THEM. I'm digging further about this. I will post back, once I get it running.

OK. That's my story and I stayed relevant on the CPA topic so some Malaysian readers here can get something out of it.

I was like worried sick when I tested my Offer URL on HideMyAss.com and the link goes to "THIS WEBSITE IS NOT CONFIGURED". Having put my money on PPC for that Offer, means the link MUST WORK.

So I used another proxy : americanproxy.org . And it works and goes directly to the landing page of my offers. Whewww...... what a relief.

In conclusion, we Malaysians need to help each other with info resources to overcome our geo-challenges.

I've been using bolehvpn.net for viewing U.S CPA offers purpose.

I've also used bolehvpn.net for downloading BT files, from western countries. Works well.

You name it, Bolehvpn.net is the cheapest that I see, in the market. Started by Malaysian, and it's very helpful for viewing CPA offers.

However, I've stopped doing CPA at the moment.

So I'm not using bolehvpn at the moment. The last time I tried, I think it was September, still working well.
