Default Is Forcing CPA sign ups to view free content legal? Or blackh*t?

I am thinking about monetizing content I have creating it by allowing people to complete a cpa offer, instead of selling it. Is this legal with the major networks?

I came across a script in google, with the word "b@ ck hat" in it, but theirs a ton of testimonials.. I'm really not tryin to get screwed and get all my commissions taken. I have emailed one company, but does anyone know off hand if this is perfectly fine with them? Because the conversion rate is going to be abnormally high doing it this way.

Thanks

It's perfectly fine, BUT you have to make sure that the CPA offers you're running with that script are incentivizable ones. If they're NOT incentivizable, then using a script like what you've mentioned will get you into serious trouble.

fully agree with this, if in doubt always ask your Affiliate Manager, I'm not teaching you to do B hat but if thats your thing then make sure you use cloaking via redirects.

Incentivized offers are what you are talking about and yes there are legal as long as the offer is allowed to be incentivizable.

Now the networks that allow these offers that I know of are maxbounty, cpaleads and blamads...

Blamads and cpaleads offer you a widget which is pretty cool and basically the script that you most likely are talking about.

The reason why they call that script "black hat" is because it CAN be, if you use regular non-incentivizable offers with it.

Are you talking about Black Hat Code Breaker? That product was offered as a WSO, as was White Hat Code Breaker (the products are nearly identical). I'm not sure if those WSOs are still active.

I have it and have made significant money with that tool, though I only occasionally use it these days. I would definitely recommend that tool if you're interested in incentive offers (though the offer absolutely needs to be an incentive offer).
