adsense ads on my site were showing related content, but I noticed something strange today. I was on a site about hover crafts. Then I went to my site and found the ads there were about hover crafts and rc planes and rc helicopters. But my site has nothing to do with hover crafts or rc planes and helicopters. My site usually talks about writing with also some military topics, government. But I have never once mentioned hover crafts, rc planes, rc helicopters. But there was not one ad about writing and military like usual. And I found these ads showed up right after I was done looking at a site about hover crafts. this makes no sense. does adsense read my computer cookies and base ads on that. is this an error right now with adsense. Have you guys ever experienced this? |

now you know ![]() this is what most antivirus/spyware clients detect as not malicious spywares/ad agents.... you search/browse "mickey mouse", you get mickey mouse related ads.... you browse mercedes benz, you get mercedes benz ads.... |

Yep This is what adsense does ... match ads to the user he is most likely to click on. Doesnt matter if your site is about apples, if the user keeps searching for fruitbasket or even fruit loops, Google will adjust the ads it displays. Remember, they wanna make money, so they figure the user is more likely to click on those type of ads than whatever is on your site. Any questions just let me know ![]() Nick |

If you use Google to make a search and then go to a site with AdSense it will happen. Google know what you searched for, so the ads will be something that fits what you're looking for. William

So what is the point of having a blog with adsense, if the adsense is not related to my content?
