Default Finding websites to advertise on using Quantcast.com

Currently I'm using Quantcast.com to try and find ad space on websites that match the demographics of CPA offers I'd like to promote. The thing is is that I'm not really sure how I should approach the website owners. I've already been rejected a couple of times for websites that actually offer advertising. I'd like to try to use a CPA model for promoting my CPA offers by placing pixels on landing pages so I'm only paying when the offer converts(when an interested subject takes action). I know this is possible because in a recent program or product by Amish Shah, he metioned only spending money when you make money(That is only paying for conversions). Can someone please help me with this?

Thank you,
William M.

Most chances those site owners had already been contacted by other affiliates many times.

Just keep trying, never give up.

Just keep trying, the success rate for "cold" contacting for advertising is very low. However once you find someone willing to work with you, it can be well worth it

If you're contacting by calling them, I would suggest recording your calls and then listening/critiquing them after you call. You'd be amazed at how much you learn by listening to your own phone calls.

A good script goes a long way. This works with Email too. People are all about the Whats in it For Me Mentality. Get right to the point and tell them why it will benefit them to work with you. As long as you make it sound like they are getting the better end of the deal, you will see your network build.

It's a learning process. It may sound trivial, but you have to learn how to talk business with others, even if they aren't busy savvy.

No room for negotiation which is the whole point of buying placements direct. Plus, nothing exclusive on page

Pretty good point, getting them on the phone helps. But to be honest it is a numbers game. Catching them at a time (which is luck) when they are in the mood for dealing with your "test buy" is more important and has been my experience. Its not uncommon with alot of small buys I do where the pub just gets lazy and forgets to pull my ad after a week test. Run my banners for free for weeks to months as its not in the insertion order.
