Default Tired of logging in to see if you made a sale?

Now that I actually have a site earning me some money I find it rather tedious to log into the affiliate network all the time just to find out that I haven't made another sale yet. It's awesome when that sale is there, but it sucks when it isn't.

Being a programmer I set out to find an easier way, and so my Affiliate Reporter was born. Right now it only works on the Incentaclick network, so if you use that network and would like to test the program out, then send me a PM and I will send a download link.

I plan to add the ability to track some other networks, such as CJ, CPAStorm, and others that I belong to. This initial version will be a freebie that will only monitor one network at a time. I plan on a future version that will track all of them that you belong to, and will offer it as a WSO soon.

Right now, though, I'm looking for some feedback on how it works for you, what systems it does/doesn't work on, and improvement ideas. It is only designed for Windows. Sorry to all you mac users out there... Until I buy a mac and can learn to program on it, this is all I've got.

Sounds like a great idea! Let me know when you set it up for clickbank.

May be quicker than you think.
Worked on that today, but with clickbank it's a little different. I don't have any clickbank sales, so I can't do too much research on it. I couldn't find a way to get the total for the whole month, so I set it to grab the current week's total. You still get the benefit of being notified when you have a sale and get to hear the nice little "ka-ching", however the total is only for the week. Need to test a little more and repackage it yet.

Uhhhh, most of the big networks have an API that will directly plug into your accounting software on request, if you know what you're looking for.

I don't care about that, I'm not doing enough to need it. I just want to know when I get sales without having to log into the website.

Bishop 81,

That is a problem that many of us wish we had. That you are able to make money is an inspiration to all of us. I can't wait to be in your shoes one day. I have made the sales here and there but never good enough to live off of.

Jeff

It is a pain, and im the same, but why not.

It's important to log in regulary to check for any unusual happenings once you've got a regular stream...for instance my adsense went down the other day, i knew because i logged in the account and it was less than 10% of normal earnings.

LOL, I'm not doing that well.

I average about 1 sale per day on a $7 commission product. Sometimes I go for a day without a sale and then get 2 the next day. It's exciting seeing that little green dollar sign flashing in my systray when I get credit for the sale.

I'll try to have something available for download tomorrow, if anyone is interested. As it is now, it only works for Clickbank and Incentaclick.

IF you write some kind of script that lets you know when you make a sale, guaranteed the days you dont get a sale you'll still check it anyway - and thats fine if you have time!

Once you dont have time youll find that you wont check so much anyway!
