Yes Adcenter is a great place to do your first PPC campaign and now you get traffic from Yahoo as well so there's plenty of volume. I suggest targeting broad on Bing to get volume and take a good look at the other types of ads that people are doing - don't try and re-invent the wheel |

adcenter generates pretty good traffic, quality wise ... volume isn't quite there though. many that use bing are not too computer savy and less exposed to various types of ads. with the recent yahoo/bing merger however, its become harder to get stuff launched. |

As ChrisBa said, don't be afraid to lose money at first. You will rarely hit on a fully successful campaign from the getgo. Monitor and optimize. One thing I will say for AdCenter, their statistics update tends to be delayed. However you should ultimately use something like Prosper202 for tracking, and that will be updated on a more real-time basis. Traffic quality has been pretty good for me, volume has been hit and miss depending on the keywords and campaign. It's not as much as Google for sure, but they are also not psychotic like Google either (yet). |

| No, according to microsoft's rep, they have stopped offering coupons long time ago as they discovered some people use multiple accounts to redeem multiple coupons and bid extremely high prices as its not their money. They might offer coupons to existing advertisers when microsoft wants to run some tests and asking advertisers to help, so they give coupons at these times. |

Microsoft AdCenter is a good start if you want to invest on search. It's certainly better (easier) to start with them than going direcctly with Google. William

Until recently I was also searching for a coupon, and the only one that I found was from Kevin Lee book, but since I am not USA based I stopped searching and now I just started a few Email Submit campaign and looking forward to see what happens, I am monitoring and tracking all the keywords, yesterday I finished tweaking everything and I will let you know how my campaigns are doing!

Is it a good idea to transfer profitable campaigns from Bing to Adwords as-is, or is Adwords traffic totally different from Bing's?

Hi- Im new to adcentre too-Pls read the conversationI had with Adcentre Rep (name and privacy things replaced)-An earlier CHAT told me You can link DIRECTLY to CLICKBANK Hoplink as Destination URL-NoNeed to Redirect as It takes at least 1000 characters!--DO NOT MISS THIS CHAT ------------------------------------------------------------------ Adcentre-rep: Hello there David! My name is xxxxx, how can I help you? David: Hi-I setup a campaign with 2 ads and FOR 2 DAYS it is still a DRAFT not online--Is there a problem?--How to solve ? Adcentre-rep: There are two possibilities that should resolve a draft status. I can definitely help you with this. David: Acct--XXXXXXXX Adcentre-rep: It basically means that there's something missing in the settings of that ad / adgroup Adcentre-rep: Thank you, give me one 1-3 minutes and I'll take a look. Adcentre-rep: So that I can verify your account for security purposes, may I have the phone number or username on record in the account please? David: I pasted 2000 kewords from my TXT file--it moved all to draft--so I used your KW tool today--but got ONLY 62--so i sent it in---STILL DRAFT David: With adwords-you paste--it goes--Here Im confused Adcentre-rep: Our system may have considered some to be duplicates. The system automatically takes plurals as the same word Adcentre-rep: For instance, body and bodies, would be considered the same. David: Phone---XXXXXXXXX-- Adcentre-rep: I would recommend clicking on the ad group again, and clicking next through the whole process to be sure you didn't miss anything. If you didn't, hit "Finish" Rather than save and close. Adcentre-rep: Thank you! It appears this is what happened. Personally when I set mine up the first time I accidentally hit save and close instead of finish Adcentre-rep: Save & Close is to the far right, whereas Finish is in the center. Adcentre-rep: I'm 90% sure this is what has happened. David: Does the system automatically removes Duplicates-so I wont have to worry? Adcentre-rep: That is correct. I'd recommend reviewing them, but I'm fairly sure you don't have to worry. When you put the keywords in, were they separated line by line? David: NO Adcentre-rep: Alright, let me take a look at them. Sorry but iIl take me 1-4 more minutes. David: I mean they had no spacces under or above each line Adcentre-rep: Oh I see what you mean now David: Im concerned about HOW to make my 2000 keywords go in as I researched from another source Adcentre-rep: Honestly, the easiest way to import that many keywords would be to use the AdCenter Desktop tool. This allows you to import many keywords at once. Adcentre-rep: I'd like to check, but now that you mention it there may be a limit on how many keywords can be put into the web UI David: Can I import from notepad? Adcentre-rep: I don't believe so. Excel is the best format. If you'd like though, you could email me your notepad and I could put them in for you. David: WHATS max number I can PASTE? Adcentre-rep: I'm sorry, I just checking. David: I will email ---send email address thanks Adcentre-rep: adcentersupport@live.com David: OK Adcentre-rep: Let me know when you've sent it in and I'll take a look. ![]() David: I will Adcentre-rep: David, do you have any negative keywords you'd like in there as well? David: No -I think I can do that later as they wont be many--but whats MAX Kws? Adcentre-rep: Unfortunately I don't have an exact answer for how many keywords you can enter max in the UI. It depends on the browser. Usually 200-300 at a time from what we know. I'm sorry - I've never been asked that before and I haven't encountered an issue with it until now. Adcentre-rep: but, max per ad group is 10,000. David: OK-Im going to send -few mins Adcentre-rep: Alright, no rush. David: I sent 4000-- Adcentre-rep: Ok thank you - please give me 5-10 minutes while I import them for you ![]() David: OK Adcentre-rep: I would recommend setting these to phrase match and exact match. Is it alright if I do that when I import them? David: I want them to be entered as broad, phrase and exact -so that I can go in later to do Advanced bidding on each--Thanks Adcentre-rep: Alright, sounds good! Adcentre-rep: Alright - sorry, I'm still importing. Adcentre-rep: I apologize. This is taking me a lot longer than I expected. ![]() Adcentre-rep: I will be another 5-10 minutes; I hope you don't mind David: not at all-I have all day sir David: its a learning curve for me-i intend to learn and be able to do it myself later! Adcentre-rep: Thank you for your patience! David: Thanks-no problem Adcentre-rep: So, I managed to add 3267 keywords. The rest were most likely considered duplicates due to the way the system works. They're just uploading right now ![]() Adcentre-rep: The system will usually consider plurals duplicates, as well as it doesn't count noise words. Adcentre-rep: For example, "in, a, the, they" David: I never knew!! Adcentre-rep: Pretty neat, right? haha Adcentre-rep: I personally think it's cool Adcentre-rep: There are a few that caused a problem. The word "Steroids" needs to be appealed. The system automatically denies a word like steroids until it can prove you're not trying to sell them. I can help you with that, too. David: I took the advise on one of Adcentre videos-ONE dynamic ad ONE static ad-- David: please remove offensive ones Adcentre-rep: Alright, it automatically did to be honest. David: i want clean business!! Adcentre-rep: Anything with drugs or sexually explicit content was automatically denied until we can get an appeal. Adcentre-rep: Did you want to just leave these out, then? David: yes Adcentre-rep: Alright, sounds good. Adcentre-rep: I'm just changing them to all three match types currently. David: thanks Adcentre-rep: Oh, no problem. There was a pretty steep learning curve for me too so it's nice to help people figure it out. Adcentre-rep: I personally find once it's done and you see how it works, it's way easier to make changes to. Adcentre-rep: So, we're all set. Could you look at that for me? David: thanks David: I will now Adcentre-rep: I can make all the changes however I can't take it out of draft for you. We like to make sure it's reviewed first. Adcentre-rep: Alright! David: its ok ive seen it Thanks! Adcentre-rep: No problem! I just feel I need to mention to more things David: Thanks Adcentre-rep: I get that active, you'd need to either hit finish at the end of those 5 steps, or, when you're looking at the ad group from the campaign level, hit the checkmark then hit "Submit" Adcentre-rep: it should change from draft to active David: OK Adcentre-rep: Finally, with your dynamic ad, you'll need to enter something in for "Param1" in all the keywords with the way you have it set up. David: OK Adcentre-rep: If you intend to have the ad always go to the same page, I'd recommend simply removing that param1 to make things easier. Adcentre-rep: Did you have any other questions for now? David: OK David: What about destinatn URL? do we put the dynamic BEFORE or AFTER? Adcentre-rep: Usually it's after. Param1 generally takes someone to a different part of the website Adcentre-rep: for example, if you were selling fruit (which I know is a silly example but it works) and the keyword was oranges David: OK-I need to go back and edit--I put BEFORE David: Thanks-thats all i need now-Im going back to drawing board Adcentre-rep: if you had a specific page just for oranges, that url was www.fruit.com/oranges , you would have it be www.fruit.com/{param1 } and enter oranges in the param1 beside the oranges keyword Adcentre-rep: Alright, would you like your ticket number? David: Yes a coupon-GREAT Adcentre-rep: lol, I'm sorry, but it's not a coupon for a sale or anything. It's just to reference our conversation today in case you needed to contact us in the future. ![]() Adcentre-rep: But your ticket number is xxxxxxx. David: I need it--but again-does Adcentre have a coupon for me like adwords?-Its a New account Adcentre-rep: Sometimes presales has coupons, but since I'm technical support for existing accounts I don't. I'm sorry about that. David: OK-I will scour internet and see how to get--actually my Hostgator acct gave me the one i used on adwords David: THANKS and you did a GREAT job for me! IM Grateful!! Adcentre-rep: Oh neat! I've seen godaddy.com have coupons for us now that I think of it. |

Microsoft adcenter have a good and quality traffic, but they are also going against affiliates and your ads may get rejected most of the time, but they have very good support team that can help you go over that. Make sure to see their PPC training Here Good luck |
