What are some tips to increasing conversions with CPV marketing?

I am doing ppv marketing on LeadImpact and I wanted to know if you warriors can give me some tips for a better converting landing page.

Here is what I know. A red colored headline will stand out and usually get read more than just a simple black colored headline. Have a call to action. Inject emotion in your copy.

Feel free to share some ideas.

You may have more success using a squeeze page to collect opt-ins, then use follow-up emails to promote the offers.

Totally agree - adding sound if they allow it.

I see a lot of guys direct linking on PPV - but I prefer landing pages. You're on the right track with running landers - more then anything you just need to split test.

Make sure you do an A/B split test and see which style is working - and then start tweaking ONE thing at a time. You'll find that a small change can make all the difference.

Creating Sounds defintiley helps grab the attention of the visitor. Try using a unique recording and not the same recording everyone is using.

This way the voice is different and appealing. Keep the sounds short and simple. This way they load quickly for all. I'd recommand using a CDN for your sound to host them. (Content Delivery Network). The CDN allows faster loading times. You only have less than a second in most cases to grab their attention before they close that pop up out.

You're audio and landing page combined need to almost make the consumer think twice about what just happened and why this page loaded.

We did one test where we combined GEO-IP and Audio (If State of IP was Florida, we had Florida in our audio). This definitely helped click through from our lander to the actual offer, but also depends on how well your lander is :-)
