Yep, obviously. Every network makes its money by acting as a middleman, taking a small cut. They handle payments and all the affiliates. I go direct a LOT, which means I get a much higher payout than 99% of affiliates, another reason why I make much more money. You can outbid most affiliates, get into higher positions and stack the deck in your favour. Thats how you win at the CPA game! Any questions just let me know ![]() Nick |

Of course. You can set direct deals and get better margins. The problem is that the biggest advertisers won't work with affiliates directly, since it's easier and safer for them to use the networks. Also, it will be more risky for you if for some reason the advertiser decides not to pay you. However, the answer for your questions is yes, it's possible to cut down on the networks. William

You can do either. But there's pluses and minuses to both. Sure going direct you can get a higher payout. But if you want faster and guarantee'd payments I'd suggest sticking with networks. Most networks will pay you weekly or faster. Where advertisers are going to want to pay monthly net 30. Basically 60 days from the start of the month you started sending traffic in. Networks will also guarantee payments even if the advertiser does pay ( which happens a lot ). Granted there's some networks that aren't paying now as well. But as a whole you're usually always going to get paid if you send legit traffic to a network. If you're don't mind losing the money you invest into a campaign by non-payment or need fast payments to churn money to grow campaigns. Then I'd suggest going direct. By the way we're a network and sometimes we go through other networks because we don't want to take the risk of going to the advertiser direct even though we know them. This is a Risk balancing business, play the game wisely. |

Great post from smaxor, As you can see it definitely can be done, read the guidelines above. One more point to throw in as well though, unless you're a major player and can send and convert massive amounts of traffic then they're not likely to be interested. You will also need to have a proven track record they can check as well. Good luck. |
