I'm just starting out with pof but have run into difficulty becasue my offer url gets my ads disaproved due to them redirecting to some smiley central offer that azoogle does if the offer is not available in your state. The ads are getting disaproved because the people who are reviewing the ads are not from the usa, so the link redirects to smiley central and the reviewers cannot see the true landing page. I know this is a common problem but there is not much information on this problem from what I can see. |

Hi Wardo, option 1: Are you using tracking202 ? If so, I'd just redirect it to the TLD during review, and switch it over to you aff link with geo redirect when it goes live. option 2: Simply hit up Ben, I'm sure he'd be able to help you out there. that said, the pof team has a pretty good understanding on geo redirect, and I notice they usually use a proxy specific to your target country when checking your links |

It's simple. Use PHP geoplugin. Then send people from the allowed countries to your affiliate link and the others to the homepage of the site that you're promoting (e.g. cupid.com, eharmony.com, etc). William

Thanks for the advice guys. After resubmitting the ads using tracking 202 with cloaking enabled, the ads got approved. If I run into more difficulty I will check out the php geoplugin.

Yes I double checked the targeting. Maybe there was another problem with the link that I missed.
