Default Tips for Direct Linking on adCenter through Email Submits

Hello out there,

I'm searching for the secrets of those who have success with email submits on adCenter. I'm running a grocery offer, and I looked into the demographics of the searchers. I built a keyword list of 250+ (all into one ad group), and I creatively wrote some good holiday ads. Still, I'm not getting any clicks, and the ad isn't converting. What's missing here?

i think this is good advice. i don't think this type of offer will be smooth sailing on yahoo/bing. i have to make a landing page or design a website on adwords. does that ever go well with an email submit on google?

You need to group your keywords better then create ads more directed to your keywords in those adgroups..

eg.
Adgroup 1 - Milk
Keywords: Milk, 2% milk, skim milk, homo milk, etc
Ad: Get FREE Milk with our Free Grocery Gift Card...

Then have another adgroup for bread, another for.... and keep going..

I personally don't direct link to email/zip submits, but this approach seems to be very good.

When creating campaigns on search I try to use only 1 keyword (3 match types) per ad group. It allows me to create ads that get a pretty high CTR, so ChrisBa's advice makes a lot of sense to me.

Thats for sure! I just tried a very popular im niche and its most popular keywords and on bing/yahoo I couldn't get 30 impressions per day to save my life and maybe 1 click per day. While on adwords for the same im niche I can sign up 30-50 people per day with small campaigns. I have other msn campaigns that do get a decent amount of traffic in other niches so I was surprised to see no traffic in this niche on bing.
