yahoo has a similar thing to adsense, I use it, not as much volume, but it suits me ok.

as I know yahoo publisher network is not working now, if we talk about CPC ad networks there's no other network even can come close to adsense. if ur site gets more traffic use CPM, networks like tribal fusion and casale media, vlaue click media also good

Hi, thank I am not looking for CPA or CPM networks. Is there a content network for publishers with the Microsoft (MNS) Adcentre network?

There is no equal alternative to Adsense. Yahoo used to have "Yahoo Publisher Network" which was closed and they referred to Chitika at time of closing. MicroSoft has AdCenter which is good but not as good as adsense.

Other then these giants you can also try adbrite and Bidvertiser etc.

Isn't adbrite a CPA network? I look for contextual...

Wow this is frustrating. No-one is stepping in to give Google a run for their money...

Lately, I've seen more and more about BidTraffic (bidtraffic.com), it looks like an AdSense alternative but I was just wondering if someone can give their own opinion...anyone else using this site to monetize traffic?

Not all of them are contextual. I am looking for contextual ad networks.

Are Fastclick, Clicksor and pocket cents contextual?

Thanks

Adbrite is a nice paying alternative but they donot have wide range of advertisers, so you may sometime get short of ads.

Ad sense is not the only game in town. The only thing that makes it attractive to most people is that its well known and quick to setup and get going.

Here is a big list of ad sense alternatives: Ad sense alternatives ( around 200alternatives)

Hi Cehai,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. Many of our publishers earn great money with Kontera, if they didn't we wouldn't continue to have the largest and highest quality In-Text network with over 15,000 publishers and 140 million unique users per month.

If you'd like to contact me at jonathanc at kontera.com I'd be happy to help you optimize your account.

Thanks,

Being recently banned from adsense, i am presently trying every other means possible to make money online. as such i am using the following:

1. Infolinks: the earning is really low. got 161 clicks for 2 dollars yesterday. Was very upset
2. Adbrite: Made no single money from adbrite
3. Bidtraffic: so far so good, made 16.58$ yesterday
4. Addynamo: so far so good, made 4.36$ yesterday
5. Chitika: no money there yet

So thats my analysis. I really miss adsense

Ive just joined Bidtraffic. It seems more confusing to use than Adsense.

I read a guide here which says you should ask the support to change your account to VIP+OVERTURE but they don't explain exactly why though. What does this do exactly?

I have tried kontera and infolinks are are useless. 0.01 per click. Don't bother...

Bidtraffic seems interesting but I do not like the fact that you start at 6% and if you do arbitrage then you need to through away lots of money before you make any.

There is a page that says: ask support to become VIP+OVERTURE but I have no idea of what that means...

Anyone?

There are many alternatives to ad sense out there, some are even better than ad sense and some are ok. Chitika and Bidvertiser are some of my personal favorites.

by getting a VIP+ you are getting more earn per click.

just ask for an upgrade for your vip+ , they'll upgrade but lately the support has been slow a bit..

Wrong, bidtraffic is the worst I have ever tried. Not only you get only 6% of the revenue but they simply do not respond to your messages.

The interface sometimes is in russian and I have never been able to communicate with them. Not even once.

Needless to say I have dropped them

Kontera = $0.01 per click average
Infolinks = $0.01 per click average

No real alternative so far. I do not understand why microsoft adcenter cannot come up with an alternative. From a technical standpoint scripts that do what adsense does are already available.

Tomorrow is today...

Infolinks and Kontera pay very small. Once I tried them on one of my sites and sometimes even after 20 clicks, I earned 0.02. By that rate it would take months to make $50.

Needless to say I have dropped them

Kontera = $0.01 per click average
Infolinks = $0.01 per click average

No real alternative so far. I do not understand why microsoft adcenter cannot come up with an alternative. From a technical standpoint scripts that do what adsense does are already available.
The support replied to me and switched the feed version to VIP+

The interface all looks english to me. The only russian ive read was in the support ticket but they had the english version of the text underneath it.

I put the ad's on my site and they are relevent to the niche unlike with Bidvertiser and Adbrite where they show unrelated ad's.

I thought the 6% means you get 6% of what your referrals earn.

Here's someone's post from the DP forum.

For the first two days that my earnings were low (as seen in th Results), i was using exactly the keywords for my site. However, when i was getting angry with the results i decided to add in other keywords that were ranking high on the top 100 keywords. So i used one of the pills, along with my other keywords in diffferent parts of myu page, and voila my earnings skyrocketed. Also blend your ads very well. it would help.

There are many alternatives as mentioned in posts above. But we just love Google, isn't it.
