Hey guys,
recently i have seen many many threads about LeadBolt and CPALead - Who is better, why, where and how.

I decided to make an 1 day test and actually I'm pretty lucky i did that.
Until today i was using CPALead, but the new facts gave me a new opportunity!

First of all i want to start with the Good Points of CPALead (Ill not write here the good points of LeadBolt cause I'm using it only 1 day) without any relation to the ePC/CTR/Ratio.

• Always Pay on-time!
• Great Support.
• Unlimited PayPal payments (Which is GREAT!)
• A Payoneer Card Option (Which is best of all lol)
• A chat system where you can talk to other advertisers.
• Lotto / Points system that can grant you all the way up to 40% to your earnings.
• Great Statistics System.
• Super Friendly Ajax Widget Builder!
• Super Friendly Offers "Chooser" Page.

But here is the reason why I'm really here..
All this good functions is nothing really without good offers, am i right? SURE!
While testing today, my CPALead EPC was only $0.06 for the US while my LeadBolt EPC was almost X3 on it! [$0.16].

I will not take it too long cause I'm very tired atm and ill let the screenshots to talk by themselves.



However Canada and UK traffic is kicking as*es on CPALead, i mean like $0.04 on LeadBolt and $0.23 on CPALead!


Quick FAQ:

Q: What is ePC?
A: Earnings-Per-Click (EPC) - This is a metric to measure the effectiveness of being able to turn a click into commissions. Formula: EPC = (Clicks/$Commissions Earned)


Q: US/UK/CA?
A: United States / United Kingdom / Canada


Conclusion:

• If you want to target the US you must use LeadBolt!
• If your traffic is coming from the UK/CA you must use CPALead!

Ohh, little edit: I have optimized the offers on BOTH of the company's, I'm not sure if i did my best on LeadBolt but i made the best on CPALead since I'm kinda old there and i know how things work (Yes, I have the GOLD surveys on CPALead)

Well asia has the worst paying offers on ALL the networks so i can't really suggest something however you can benefit from it cause the traffic numbers is much bigger, actually CPALead is the only company I've tried with Asian traffic and the profit from it was pretty nice (again.. the numbers was much bigger) but even with the huge traffic amount - the revenue was worse than US/UK/CA.

I suggest you to try CPALead with their Content Locker cause LeadBolt's only good surveys is the US one's.


Actually i already have an account in BlamAds, gonna apply to AdscendMedia now and test those two as well, stay tuned!

I don't think that your question is related to this thread but ill answer anyway.
As for myself i rarely do offers... and as for my traffic, i was a little in a bad mood because i knew this can happen to them.. but when i started to drive 50,000 clicks a day my bad mood gone and the users turned into just numbers hehe...
And yes, sometimes when i personally finish a survey the gateway is still there (It's a bugged survey or a memory bug in your browser).

all the surveys in my opinion have decent payouts but they kill traffic and se rankings not worth it. If you want real traffic and want to be in the game for the long run NO SURVEYS.

Totally agree.
However for a guy like me who hate's seo it's a good way to make money for some PPC / CPV campaigns and common... 4K a day? ill just keep doing it a while and then switch to an automated method...

Good post. I am a CPALead member but I don't do much traffic with them. They are certainly good for certain things.

Remember that you can use incentive offers for other networks too. For example, Maxbounty usually has a few really good incentive offers at any particular time. I've done well with those in the past by using my own content locker (Maxbounty has confirmed that this is fine to do on incentive offers).

Leadbolt looks pretty slick, and I will consider applying. I'm actually a member of BlamAds, but I've never tried their content locking - I will give it a shot soon.

Hey Rico, i am very curious, how do you drive so much gateway traffic. Care to share some tricks/tips with us? or, maybe you can do a WSO about this.

CPALead simply banned me and stole my money when I started making $500+ per day there (all facebook traffic, nothing against rules). I contacted my ex manager there for few times but he simply says to write email to appelas. I sent them email in September and never got answer.
So I won't ever recommend them to anyone.
I don't use leadbolt too, but I tested them with few mine sites and they don't seem very bad.

It was while Facebook (The thing what you have been doing) was strictly against their rules, now the times has change and they allow it and even love it.

I'm sorry but i can't share this nor make a WSO cause the new WF TOS will not let me to do that (It's kind of BlackHat).
Actually i wish i could make an WSO and help all the struggling guys out there (I have my own students already making 2k-3k a day).
I really love to help people but i can't on this one, sorry mate.

It was not too long ago and facebook wasn't against their rules then. Infact, other publisher were making a lot more than me and still got their payments, while many others got banned like me.

Already done that, but no real answer why I'm banned, they don't want to tell (because they just don't have a reason). And I'm not the only publisher with similar problem.

I don't care for the money they stole too much, I just want to say that you shoudln't go with them, or atleast go with them with cauton.

I do the same David does and I love Leadbolt, had an U.S. EPC of $0.18 yesterday, and 0.16 worldwide. I'm about to try Adscend next when they accept my application.

Nice screenshots, but the thing about CPALead is, they ban you immidiately when they see you something against their TOS. I hope you wont get banned while you are making money.

Marketing since June 2010 and earned 3080$ so far.

If you play between the posts, then no network should deny commissions. If you are doing something outside the rules, then you are always at some risk. Sometimes networks will pull a "clean-house" and deny commissions of affiliates that were promoting against the TOS even if they had been turning a blind eye all around.

This is nothing against or for any of the major content lockers, but just something to be aware of. As they say, it may be wise to not have all your eggs in one basket and spread the risk a bit if you are doing something on the sketchy side!

Hey, isn't leadbolt the one who is going through a big lawsuit? I believe cpalead is suing the owner of leadbolt. If you search for leadbolt lawsuit you'll find the thread in digital point. A guy leaked the whole thing. It is definately worth a read. I would be a little nervous working with leadbolt myself. Was going to use them in my mobile apps but decided not to because of that.

Well alot of things changed lately as its basically kinda old thread.
However now i would not suggest CPALead for one reason i don't want to waste my time on.
In two words - CPALead gives its publishers a permission to use stuff and then doesn't pay them cause the publishers are using that (you can find some of the stuff on CPALead MARKETPLACE!).

Be aware because they can sell you websites, techniques and even personal information (where you live, whats your name, whats your paypal etc..)

LeadBolt is way better than CPAlead. CPAlead makes it very hard for new publishers to earn. Their gateways only show download and install offers (Game Vance, Play Sushi, etc), that do not convert well, and on top of that, they contain adware that's difficult to completely remove. You have to make a certain amount to gain access to the "good" offers i.e. the e-mail submits and regular surveys. That makes it hard for new publishers to succeed. There are hundreds of other networks that don't restrict the normal offers for new publishers.

It was the same day i just made a PHP widget spinner to spin the widgets (50% LeadBolt was shown, 50% CPALead was shown).
