Hello fellow warriors, I've been doing quite well in some CPA niches thanks to the valued contributions of many of you in this forum. I am now stuck with an issue with facebook ads. In the past, whenever I promoted a CPA offer on faceobook, I would put the affiliate link generated to me by the affiliate network (especially with a subID so I can track) as the destination URL for the facebook ads. These ads are now getting rejected. So I then started to do domain forwarding and those ads are getting rejected. The main reason is your affiliate links will only work in certain regions, because the CPA vendor will only pay for leads from a particular region (such as US, Canada, UK, etc). However, the people reviewing the facebook ads might be located (most likely are) in a different region and as result the destination URL does not match the URL of the ad being promoted or the ad itself. This has become a major problem. The common solution has been to use some form of geoplugin script (.php) which redirects the visitor. Does anyone have another ideas on how to get around this problem? The problem with the geoplugin script is it makes tracking much more difficult. You manually have to add subIDs each time. I am looking for a solution to this problem that will also allow me to track my campaigns/ads effectively. Your help is much appreciated. Cheers, Mark |

Now facebook not allowed affiliate link. Just create a landing page for your CPA offer and use your landing page url in facebook ads.

Because from my understanding CPA offers, especially gaming and dating CPA offers convert a lot better with direct linking. Also you will notice most CPA affiliates seem to be using direct linking when it comes to dating or gaming. Not unless I am mistaken?

I got the idea. They can't see your ads because geo redirection make them see the wrong ads, so they will disapprove your ads. If me, I will use mydomain.com than redirect to origanal page of offer without using my affiliate link. After ads is approved, I redirect mydomain.com back to my affiliate link.

Ok- I tried doing with Faizudin and others suggest, which is when your ads get disapproved because of the URL (reviewer is based outside country of offer), then re-submit it with the URL of the actual offer itself then after it is approved go ahead and re-submit with the URL of your affiliate link. I tried that several times and unfortunately it didn't work. Facebook approves the URL of the actual offer when I re-submit. But when I re-submit a second time the affiliate link it get disapproved once again. This is become a MAJOR problem for me and many others. We are desperately looking for a solution. I know some people suggest a geoplugin and redirect, but the problem with that is you can't track the ads with sub ids? without tracking you are walking blind. Any other suggestions much appreciated? Thanks |

I think you submit directly through facebook. If you change the link directly from facebook they will review the ads again and you ads will disapprove. You need a domain, submit the domain to facebook ads link and redirect the domain to actual offer page. After the ads approve, redirect the domain back the domain to your affiliate link. Quote:

Can you please give me an example stey by step? The problem I am seeing with this, is how will you be able to track your ads with subids. Are you able to track multiple ads with multipe sub ids with one re-direct? How do you do that? Thanks.

Well, if you want to create multiple ads and tracking multiple sub ids, then use multiple subdomain for ads link. 1 subdomain = 1 subid. So you will know which ads convert. Quote:

Hi Faizudin, is this what you are saying; 1) FB Ad -> sub.domain.com 2) FB Ad approved 3) Redirect sub.domain.com to your CPA ID link Have you ever had an Ad rejected mid-campaign because of this? |

There might in the case. Like as arjensen said just contact the facebook team and tell them they have to view the page from a specific country by using proxy or VPN (The country you target). They should ok with that. |
