I'm getting into CPA and found some offers that collect email and zips I want to do but the problem when you read the fine print it says 1) register with valid information including e-mail address, shipping address, and phone number; 2) complete the survey; 3) complete at least 2 Silver, 2 Gold and 6 Platinum Sponsor Offers....Are they mostly all like that, it seems a lot of people would be scared off by that. Anyone have any luck finding ones with less hoops to jump through or if not do they actually convert?

That is what the people that sign up for the prize need to do in order to receive the prize. You just have to get them to submit their email/zip code |

Mike is right, usually your job here is merely to get the viewer to submit their email or zip. That is all. The rest of the sequence is a way for the advertiser to make some money from this new lead in addition to having their mail to sell to in the future. No company is going to give an iPad away just for giving them your email address. |

A lot (but certainly not all) of the e-mail/Zip submit offers follow the format of "complete this, this and this to get your prize." However, the person doesn't have to do all of that for you to get your conversion. Usually the CPA offer converts on completion of the first page, which is the e-mail/Zip code submission. They don't pay a lot (about $1, give or take) but it's fairly easy to get the conversion you're looking for.

Incentive means that you are giving something to the person in return for completing an offer. Cash incentives are obvious; "soft" incentives are things like game points or virtual currency. Most CPA offers cannot be incentivized, but there are some CPA networks (like BlamAds that specialize in these types of offers.

Conversion point is almost always at the submission of the email address. The "hoops" you are talking about are pretty common. This is how these advertisers can afford to giev away free ipads, computers, phones, etc. In general, the more valuable the giveaway, the more hoops consumers will need to jump through...for obvious reasons! | |
