Default Max Bounty and Tracking 202

Ok, so I have a campaign with lead impact and I set up tracking 202 with a max bounty link, I followed their video instructions but when I look at my stats , all I see in the sub id's report is a bunch of numbers. does anyone know why that is? I have a keyword campaign and I want to be able to track converting keywords,
tnx in advance

That's exactly what the sub ID should like. It's just a unique number generated by 202 so that you can track each click individually.

The keyword data is a totally different parameter and has to be passed through in your link to T202. In Lead Impact there are 2 ways to pass back the keyword to T202. When setting up your landing page and URL on LI, either click on the "Keyword Pass-Through" check box or append "&t202kw=%KEYWORD%" to your URL. Either way will work and you will then see the keyword data showing up in your T202 reports. You will never see you keywords in your Maxbounty reports, only sub ID's (that's the way it should be!)

If you want T202 to show what sub ID's convert (and hence what keywords convert), either manually import the sub ID's back to T202 from Maxbounty or setup the call back URL in Maxbounty and it will do it automatically.

And just remember that if you change a URL on a campaign that's already running on LI, the campaign will be re-submitted for approval.

Cheers

About the sub IDs, that is how it should look like as it is generated to track each individual click.

I have to cal back url on max bounty
and the "keyword pass-through" function is enabled but I still can't see any leads on tracking 202 for some reason, I missing something just not sure what.
I was able to see the converting keywords after manually uploading the sub id's, but I wish I understood why I can't get it to automatically show up
thank you all for your help

Any idea?

Your call back URL on MaxBounty should look like this:

http://www.mydomain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?subid=#S1#

In particular, make sure the "#S1#" has a capital S. My callbacks didn't work until I made it a capital.

To make sure it is working, grab any sub ID from your 202 reports and manually test the callback URL - it should trigger a conversion. If not then your callback URL is incorrect.

Also, best to set it up as a global callback (in your profile) rather than setting it up on each individual campaign.

Let us know how you go....

Hi Filter
Thank you so much for your time
My AM set up a global call back for me which looks different actuallysomething like that)
http://static.tracking202.com/flm/d8tco87695d5gmk

I'm just a little confused, i was watching the t202 videos and read the tutorials and I'm reading my reports but I'm not getting all the data

Let me try and back it up , once I set up my destination url with t202 and say I'm using max bounty and driving traffic with direct cpv, is this is what I'm suppose to put in:

http://www.mb01.com/lnk.asp?o=2214&c=918271&a=56743&s1=

Or do I need to add the keyword variable( {{keyword}}) at the end if I want to track keywords?

again tnx for all your help and sorry for all those questions I'm just trying to figure this system out

Hey Ori

No problems mate, I know it can be frustrating.

Sorry I forgot you are using T202 rather than Prosper 202 so yes, the callback URL your AM setup will look something like that. You can confirm that by going to step 8 in T202, that will show you your callback URL.

However, it looks like your AM has left off the subid so T202 will never know which click it was. Go into your profile in MaxBounty and you will see the global URL in there. Simply add this to the end of the URL: ?subid=#S1#

Then to test it, grab that whole URL and paste it into a browser. Replace the #S1# with any subID number that has been recorded in your T202 reports. You SHOULD see that subID convert (takes up to 30 seconds).

You still seem a little confused as to who generates the keywords and sub ID's. Here's a basic breakdown.

1) User clicks on your Ad, the advertising server (Lead Impact, MT, Adwords etc) passes the keyword that generated the click to T202
2) T202 generates a subID for that click, records the keyword
3) T202 redirects to your CPA network (MaxBounty etc) and gives them the subID for that click
4) User performs the required action (eg enters email address and clicks submit), Maxbounty passes the converting clicks subID back to T202
5) T202 records the conversion as it now knows the subID

Hope that clears it up mate. If your still confused, feel free to hit me up on Skype and I'll try to walk you through it.

Cheers

In prosper you need to goto upload subid's and then paste the subid #'s from maxbounty, then goto prosper202 in analyze keywords to see what your keywords are
