Default Facebook Ads being disapproved

Hey guys, I tried making two Facebook ppc ads using my maxbounty affiliate URL and both times it was disapproved because of the URL.

I was wondering what you guys suggest? Should I buy a domain and create a landing page or buy a domain and have it redirect to the offer page?

I want to stick by Facebook's terms obviously Let me know what my best option is for highest conversion rate.

Also, if you suggest making a landing page, can you post an example of a successful landing page or a place I can read more about landing pages? Thanks guys!

When you figure out the secret to facebook PPC let me know please. I've put CPA offers on a landing page, and those ads got approved, then denied after they ran a while. And I can't get clicks on FB for less than $.75, so I'm obviously doing something wrong.

What country are you targeting? If the reviewers are outside of this country then they are probably being redirected to another offer

I've tried a UK offer targeting UK Facebook users and I also tried a US offer targeting US Facebook users. Both got disapproved

This is because when you are submitting, the reviewers are located where they are redirected and can't see that offer. The ads aren't matching the offer, as far as they can see, so they are denied.

What time of day are you submitting your ads? Do you live in the US?

Try submitting them at 8 or 9 in the morning instead. Usually works like a charm.

If they still deny them, you will know you are doing something wrong.

thanks, i'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you know my results

i was wondering if it's better to use a subdomain to redirect to the affiliate URL or just use the affiliate URL again?

for example, i own the domain tipsandadvice dot info

should i do cpaoffername dot tipsandadvice dot info or just put the regular maxbounty URL?

thanks again!

Hi,

I've seen all over WF postings that many people going through all the trouble of getting approved by FB until they reached desperation point.

Is FB worth all the trouble and heartache?

I am having the EXACT same problem like many of you here. My ads are getting disapproved on facebook because of the URL, most likely because the reviewer is not based in the country where the URL is being redirected.

Now some people suggest a redirect of some sort with a .php script.

Only problem with that is, how do you track the ads?

There must be a reason people are willing to go trough it with fb to get ads on there.

Hi,

On WF, I don't see too many success stories about Ads on FB.

Are they just keeping quiet or it just isn't happening? Is it just hyped out by WSO?

What I see is people getting into a lot of pressures trying to get Ads approved.

Are you sending them directly to the CPA page or are you sending them to your own page first to then direct them to the offer(s)?

I'm new to CPA so I'm looking for a learners guide if anyone can point me in the right direction?

I currently get $0.07 CPC on facebook so I want to start forwarding the clicks to CPA or Amazon.

People that are REALLY making money on Facebook or anywhere else aren't showing everyone on Warrior Forum what they are doing.

It's happening, believe it!

Jeff,

I have prepared myself for FB initially but stopped short after reading very disturbing posts. Difficulties in getting Ads approved is a serious time waster.

But if the tips are coming from you, I'll take it as facts. Will reconsider FB.

I assume there are only a few Offers that worked well on FB. One example is Dating. Others failed miserably, namely Health. So the best companions to refer to are my AMs and your valuable tips.

If the LP is legit contact Facebook and tell them they have to view the page from a specific country or use VPN.

Or, I find most LPs have a non geo-targeted equivalent LP. I use a custom solution but I think you could use Prosper 202. Just use the non geo-targeted LP and then rotate in the geo-targeted LP after the ad is approved.

Yes, you can make money on Facebook. Traffic = $$$ and FB has a lot of traffic. Getting ad disapprovals is part of the game. Each niche has its own rules you'll need to figure out to get ads approved. And even if you play by the rules you'll still get disapprovals depending on who reviews it. But there are lots of traffic sources to choose from, so if you don't like disapprovals their are options. For example PoF.

Hope that helps. Best.

P.S. The health niche does work on FB. Although, games and dating are probably better.

It's true, it is a time waster. But so is browsing forums.

Keep this in mind: People on Facebook are browsers and not buyers. They want something usually only if it's 100% FREE. So if you are promoting watches, give them a "teaser" of something that would interest them. Maybe a FREE guide to "best watches of 2010". Then follow-up with more good information about watches, and how to spot fakes, etc.

Keep reminding them that you own a blog focused around high class watches. Eventually they will buy one or they won't. Guess where they will most likely be buying them from?

I just had 2 ads disapproved. And, I'm unable to edit either ad. I did read in the FB forum that sometimes you WILL be able to edit the content of the ad and sometimes you won't. So, do I delete the disapproved and start anew?

Thanks so much. Susanna

If you don't get an email for approvals or disapprovals, check your contact settings.

I've experienced the same disapproval problem with direct linking to the MaxBounty offers.

Assuming that everything else in your ad is correct, you will need to cloak the links to get them approved. I asked my MaxBounty advisor if this is ok, and she said that it's not disallowed. Hopefully, the lack of a yes or no answer isn't a grey area on what is acceptable.

If you use Peerfly, they have many options for tracking domains that can be helpful to get approval for your facebook ads. If you leave it on Peerfly, there's a good chance of getting a disapproval notice.
I've had to try several to get my adds approved. The edulinkoffer and bizoppoffer seem to work well.

I'm a newb to FB ads and submitted my first ad with a direct PeerFly link that was denied as well. Maybe I'll try Ryan's suggestion.

People saying they've had 6 ads disapproved is nothing, so far I've had 32 different ads disapproved and none approved. I'm sending traffic to my own page on my own website for my own product and the last ad I had disapproved was the exact same headline i have on my landing page but ad was disapproved because it does not "adequately reflect the product"
