Hey all, just wanted to get some ideas on some things. I was accepted to Wolf Storm Media a couple of days ago. I do not have a website as of yet but planning to set up a blog and go the SEO path. but for the meanwhile, i wanted to send traffic thru PPC, how do i go about doing that to my offers without a website? i have very little money to play with/test. your thoughts please. Thanks! |

You would direct link to the offer landing page. So in Adwords, your destination url would be your affiliate link from WSM. |

Generally, direct linking does not convert as well as sending your traffic to your landing page first. What your LP does is warm up your prospect so that they will be more likely to convert on the offer page. ![]() |

most IMer's misunderstood what PPC, is all about, the reason it does not convert well is that the User (they) were just curious with your offer...meaning they werent' really predispose to buying something. Or better yet, you have distracted them enough to click on your Ad, that's why it does not convert well... Ever hear of BUYER INTENT...you will never hear this word or phrase at this level..only the elite Affiliates talks about it..BUYER INTENT..means "what the buyer is intending to do or behaves when he is on that website".. you figure that out, you are thinking like the elite marketers.. Big reasons why most people loose money with CPA, because they have no clue, that this word exist..:Buyer intent.. You are better off, really understanding how niche marketing really works first before spending any money on PPC, CPA promotion. Click on my signature and learn what niche marketing really is and how to find them..you can start there.. |

Direct linking with Adwords is very brutal. I would try Facebook and Bing.

You can definitely direct link certain offers on certain traffic sources. Dating generally does well direct linked on Facebook for example. Reach out to your account manager or myself and we'll be happy to point you to our training, and help you get moving! |

chambmw - You are on the right path with SEO if your new, if you want to test ppc, you should test out direct link method, which basically just means your target URL is the affiliate link. Adwords does not allow this, you can try smaller ppc search engines.

If you have very little money, I think that you should stay away from PPC. This model is very profitable and it's what I use to make my money, but you need to have a good budget to test campaigns, so if you're tight on money make some research about the free marketing strategies and choose one of them to start with. Testing with media and PPC is only a short term and you wont be a million that retire at 20. You should try your own SEO and real site to do it cuz it is a persistent income if you do it right

You can say Direct Linking using PPC. Pay Per View Marketing, Email Marketing, and banner ad space.

As mentioned earlier PPC seems to be the way to go. Its just pricey. So as I am also a newbie I am sticking to what I know and SEO. Looking into starting the Facebook Fan Page.

bro as you don't want to invest money then it will be totally a foolish idea to start your marketing with out any kind of blog/ site/ landing page. so you have to direct link the PPC and the ad. which may cause to ban your account from the both sites. so i think you should not do this type of thing. build a blog then start marketing. save your money. thanks |

I agree. Adwords will not accept direct linking. PPC is a tough game to play. It can get really expensive. I would suggest not doing it. Set up your blog and go organic. Drive traffic to your site and dangle a nice banner ad in front of them that is relevant.

| PPC "can" be a tough game but as with any traffic method; it all depends on the offer you have. You don't need a blog and you don't need a website with organic traffic to make money.PPC can get expensive sometimes, but I've made money myself with PPC direct linking and other methods using direct linking. In fact, I have never set up a website to promote offers. Either way can work...website or no site. Just a preference.

In your case I would recommend you go the organic route too... it takes a little more work, sure... but you can go at your own pace (which I'm assuming will be somewhat quicker than snail's pace ), and you won't be surprised one day when your funding dries up due to PPC costs. With PPC, you'll need to set a spend limit... and that will need to be higher to stand a good chance of being seen often throughout the day. Of course with the higher daily spend limit (even though you probably won't reach it), you could get hit with a nasty surprise. And there are issues with direct linking your PPC ads to the affiliate offer... all depends on Google's mood it seems :-) In any case, it's not actually much work to set up a new site to promote an offer... or even a blog that promotes several offers... giving honest (though not brutally honest) reviews about several products or offers can quickly get you an authority site that will attract more traffic through SEO. Or just set up a site and link to that if you are set on PPC... and I mean it when I say it doesn't take much work... we employ several guys and girls who set up several sites a day for our clients. You just gotta make a decision on what feels right for you at the moment and run with it :-) You can always start over |

| Keep in mind, that Google is not the only PPC platform out their at the moment. I do PPC campaigns, but NONE on Google. My opinion, google is a little washed up anyways depending on the niche your marketing. Their are many other variations besides Google. Some that I found that I won't say here. (only to my affiliates). You have your basic other search engines, social media PPC platforms and a few other sources out their away from these 2 types that perform very well.

I mean I just gone done setting up campaigns for our new product's JV program with Yahoo/Bing, Bidvertiser, Facebook... and a couple of others ;-) There are also quite a few of the PPC providers that are offering 'vouchers' (including the ones I just mentioned actually) I've seen them floating around for a while now for free advertising credit essentially. So that can come in handy too. Definitely worth expanding your horizons when it comes to PPC though, I agree. | |
