landing page options

hello,

i'm looking to build a few landing pages for cpa offers as my first ppv campaign on mediatraffic. i haven't had much success (at all) in any type of cpa ads, so i'm stingy with my spending. here's what i'm contemplating:

1. ideally, i want to use wordpress because it's free, but i need a one page squeeze with no links except to the cpa offer (not a full blown website)
2. i could register another domain, but that's another $50 or so that i've seen little to no conversions to compensate for the tools i've already invested in

i asked my affiliate manager which offers are converting by direct link strategy on ppv. i got a few recommendations about a few gaming offers, but before i begin testing and wasting more money, i'd like to think about getting landing pages going as they are vital to any successful marketer.

looking for your experience and advice here at the warrior forum.

a little trick i learned tonight is to use prepopulation on your landing page. for example, your landing page says "congratulations! get a free macbook pro! insert email"

so then they put their email and once they submit you receive their email (to your list) and it prepopulates into the CPA page email submit area. so all they have to do is click submit (their email will already be in the CPA page email box through prepopulation) on the CPA page.

basically, once they see their email is already on the CPA page, they're more likely to click submit + you have them in your list.
