Need Definition of some terms

Hi Friends,

Although most of the things are clear but I am a bit confused about the following terms. Can you please explain them for me.

web/banner ( I know this is related to putting banners and links on your website).

social media - display ( this is bit confusing, does this mean if some offer is not displaying "social media-display) as a promotion method, I can't promote it on youtube? What if web/banner is listed, can I go and promote on youtube?

search- (is there any other meaning of it except ppc?)

in which of the categories will facebook advertising and youtube will fall ?
