Just wanted to post my experience here and how I became profitable in PPV, maybe it can help some of you. Note: I lost over $200 in ppv traffic and also invested in 3 different courses to get to this point. I also invested over 50 hours of reading these great forum threads. I was also very active in asking questions on here as well (thanks for all the input people). Here are my tools: Affportal Google suggested keyword tool Affportal Batch url scraper Prosper202 hosted version for tracking Conversion pixel on offer success page to track keywords and urls. Here is what I learned from my mistakes before, don't bid on general url's, go through each url specifically to make sure it's a good fit for your offer. Don't bid on keywords until you have a good campaign then add keywords. Or monitor keywords very closely.. Don't let your traffic come in day and night, when you see conversions it will let you know what time of the day it's converting. (shut it down when it's not converting) Start with direct linking then move onto landing page if you see decent conversions (I'm actually building my first landing page tomorrow) Any questions? I will answer as best as I can here. |

Thanks for sharing. Doesn't sound any secrets here, just some elbow greases. Few questions though 1. How do you choose the niche? Or you use popular niches e.g. dating, insurance, loans, etc..? 2. When do know to stop the campaign if it's losing? e.g. after 2x the payout? |

zip/email submits. I learned there are no real secrets and just got to work! all the information you need is here in the forums. since it was my first campaign I didn't have a limit so I lost nearly $200. Now I think ill let it run about $100 before shutting it down |

Thanks for your prompt answers. Which PPV networks that have been working for you? I am guessing you are using throw and stick methods? which means you rotate offers till you find the winning offer? |

The only network I have tested is Lead Impact, the next one I will test is Adon Network. The Throw and stick methods yes I do this, but only for the urls and keyword not for offers. Stick with 1 offer until you know for sure it's working or not working, otherwise dump it and move on. Another thing is to rotate offers (which I will do next time around) like you said but my offer is very specific this time, so I was unable to test it this time. |

Hey Carlos, best of luck! When you set up with AdOn make sure to use the traffic for affiliates tag, it's the best traffic we have for conversions. have a great day let me know if I can assist. Also I like Keywordspy for KW research.

Thanks, I'm super busy with so much other stuff but CPV seems to be easier to set up campaigns with. Which is great for me. I also have a few people that work for me which im currently training to set these up! | |

If you're looking to build a longer term campaign, get away from zips and email submits. If you haven't found out why yet, you will and you're next question will be, "why did my conversion rate drop so badly?" |

dating works quite well too with the right targeting, and in general, has a higher payout than zip/email submits
