I'm sure many of you are aware of "trademark infringement" - bidding on trademarked keywords - and how many PPC and CPA entities don't allow it. Is this the case with PPV right now anywhere? I know that tons of PPV marketers bid on trademarked keywords and domain names to get their traffic, but is this not allowed in some cases that you know of?

Ethically, especially after reading the way you layed it out... it does seem wrong. I know I would definitely not do it for an offer that directly states no bidding on "xx" terms... But I always think it's a good idea to run plans for a new campaign by your AM before you launch them, as part of your planning phase... and doing so would give you to approach any offer on a case by case basis, and always know your butt is covered. If you utilize the relationships with your account managers- you really will have less questions. |
