Default Getting Started With CPA and CPL...

Hey,

I am interested in this affiliate business model and I have a few questions for you CPA experts:

Note that I am not interested in: ring tones, loan, debt and musical offers.

1) I would like to know what it the best way to start with this.

2) What else can I promote?

3) How do you promote?

4) How much are you earning per month?

Thanks for your help.

Franck

The answer is that I am making a living with cost per sale affiliate programs... and my own products... and coaching people to make these two things.

I never touched about cpa programs. I earn by selling high ticket products, so it's amazing to see people making a living with $1 CPA offers.

Just want to know how it works.

Cost per sale is something, creating your products is something, and CPA is something else.

Different business models, different approach.

If you're still puzzled, you can see my signature. It's "noob friendly".

I just had a quick glance at your site, and I saw that you can get $27 (like LimeShare.org ) per sign up...

Is this true? and all they need to do is signing up?

Oh... and could you please answer to my first question? because all the sites on your page seem to be about music, file sharing and all this stuff I do not promote...

And where do you find good CPA programs? Give me one or two good urls only. I don't need a big list.

Thanks

Franck

I've talked to lots of people that do their own products or only focus on one narrow niche. It can happen that they've never done any cpa type business...

Haha, I think you're talking about me. I've tried CPA leads for a week, but then gave up...mainly because I was spending so much time on my own business. Don't want to get distracted. Would like to take a closer look at this again some time.

You are right PPC Coach.

I'm a killer at SEO, and not so good at PPC...

Some people make money blogging and couldn't build a site if their life depended on it...

Other make thousands with affiliate marketing and don't have a clue about CPA!

Franck.

Franck,

I agree with you. The trick for making money online is to promote one thing at a time and become an expert on it. If jump around from one idea to another a lot, online bucks will free from you.

I know what you mean. It's very easy to get distracted when you don't get immediate results but the best tactic in my opinion is to focus on one area until you master it and then you can think about other areas if you so wish

Hi Bradley, I have just applied to be a member of AzoogleAds, i find the application process quite daunting when being asked questions such as what is your eCPM and whether or not I will be using search or web, especially as I am a newbie at CPA.

Is there a a simple method on how to apply to give yourself the best chance of being accepted?, all the networks tend to ask similar questions

Cheers

Peter (UK)

Hey Peter,

I just recently got accepted to Azoogle, Hydra, Neverblue, MaxBounty, and a few others.

Here's how I did it:
-When they call you (which they will) answer the phone (or call them back).
-Sound like you know what your talking about (don't tell them you're new at this).
-When they ask you how you found out about them say "Warrior Forum".
-When they ask you why you want to be an affiliate say you're currently building a promotion for a specific type of niche (you're working on building a list in the dating niche and you want to promote cpa offers to that list - or something similar).
-When they ask how you plan on promoting the offers tell them PPC. You can throw in other methods but from what I understand they want to hear PPC.
-If they ask about your site or sites tell them you get a minimum of 10,000 uniques a month.

Hope this helps.

Some of the most common cpa networks it seems are:

neverblueads
marketleverage
copeac
maxbounty
pepperjam
hydra

But I read a post the other day on here that stated the best offers are in the lesser known networks. Own the whole niche to yourself. Makes sense to me.

This is really helpful thank you for listing it point by point. I have some follow up questions.
Do you just tell them what they want to hear or they want to know the specifics?
If for instance you tell them that you get 1000 uniques, will they want to know the web site url?

They will ask you for a website. I used one of my older content sites as an example. It doesn't have to be a work of art (mine sure isn't).

My advice is unless you have a very high trafficked site which is obviously generating ad revenue already is to tell them you deal purely in PPC, host and post type methods.

The difference between being accepted and not is always the phone call, this is by far and away the most important factor in being accepted into a network.

Get on the dog and bone, let them hear you, be clear precise, don't treat the call as if they are doing you some favour, your the damm customer, they make money from you, be professional, explain your a PPC buyer, you work in numerous verticals as long as they can generate a ROI, be friendly but professional and your work is done.

I'm in over 52 networks, not a single decline after the phone call.

Hi Peter,

Some excellent responses above as you'll see. Unfortunately the application process for networks usually seems a bit daunting to newbie since they are designed for that very reason - to filter out the newbies! Essentially they are trying to filter out timewasters or any customers that may be a drain on the company's resources.

As you'll see above the phone call is critical but it is more important that you sound like you know what you are doing than actually knowing what you are doing. You are already doing the right thing though by getting some background knowledge from these forums so that you can at least sound the part on the application process

Be confident in yourself and your business objectives and you'll do just fine

The best of luck
