Hey guys I have 2 campaigns on lead impact with about 130 keywords and urls each now whats the best and easiest way to track each keyword so i know how each ones preforming I have a tracking 202 account but im not sure how to use it but my landing pages are just domains I forwarded.

Thanks to anyone that can help me with this and by the way how many keywords or urls do you guys start off with when doing ppv

Ok, assuming you have tracking 202 or prosper 202 we will go through all the steps necessary to set it up.

1. Click on #1 PPC Accounts. although we are using CPV/PPV, we will be loading LeadImpact here as it works the same way. So just type in LeadImpact in Step 1 and under it in Step 2 choose Leadimpact and type in your account username. This doesn't have to be the same username you use on LeadImpact. It just helps you organize things.

2. Click #2 Aff Networks and type in MaxBounty. That's all.

3. Click #3 Aff Campaigns and just fill out the form. Now when you put in your Affiliate URL in the form, you want to go to MaxBounty and grab the "contextual" URL from the offer you chose. Now at the end of that URL, type &s1=[[subid]]

4. Assuming you are direct linking your campaign you can ignore steps 4, 5, and 6. #7 says Get Links. Click that. Leave Direct Link Setup checked, pick MaxBounty from Aff Network, choose your campaign, method of promotion = direct linking, cloaking is up to you, PPC network = leadimpact, choose account name, type in your max cost per view... you can change this later. Something like 0.015 works or higher. Then click generate tracking link.

Now take the URL you get and copy it. Go into LeadImpact to set up your campaign. Paste the URL as the target URL you want people to see. Make sure you check the "Keyword Passthrough" box when setting up the campaign so it shows up in your tracking 202.

Wait for approval, and goodluck! I hope I got everything, if you need anymore help let me know... but I'm still learning too

If you are new to this and find p202 to difficult to use , just place leadimpact's tracking pixel in maxbounty and you are done.

If you want to use p202 instead ( which is better because you can also see lp ctr ) , have a look at the videos on their site. They are pretty exhaustive.

i followed the steps for getting tracking 202 working now everything works but since then i got 2 converts and tracking 202 shows 0 and so does leadimpact the only reason i know I have 2 converts is because my maxbounty account has more money what to do?

paste your conversion pixel from tracking202 on your maxbounty conversion page.
or trackback I think maxbounty does not allow you to place a pixel..

also on leadimpact you must click on the keyword-passthrough when setting up the campaign.


this can get a bit confusing if you are using landingpages
you must create a frame, 1% on top and 99% on the bottom or whatever
then the 99% is a redirect to the offer and the 1% is used for tracking pixels

I'm currently working for a better solution as well, and I think prosper202 pro or cpvlab is the answer (not sure yet) otherwise you can't really track from start to finish and gets cumbersome.

on the maxbounty page if i go to report and then subid theres all these different ids and some have a conversion beside them can i use those to figure out the keyword?

go to tracking 202 and click #8 Get Postback/Pixel

copy the URL under Simple Global Post Back URL

add #S1# to the URL after &subid= so the end of the URL should look like

&subid=#S1#

paste the whole thing with the new ending into maxbounty campaign offer page where it says Callback Pixel/URL.

now conversions should start showing in your tracking 202 account. as far as the leads you've already generated, i don't know how you would retrieve what keywords triggered them. but for the future set up the post back pixel so you can start tracking now.
