Default Questions about links inside e-books

Hi everyone,

Let's say you put out a free ebook to collect opt-in email addresses on your squeeze page. In your ebook you do a soft sell that contains your affiliate link to some cpa offer. Let's say you get 100 people to click on that affiliate link. What traffic source would you classify those people as? Assuming there is no landing page in between the link and the offer, would it still be considered web traffic? Offline (since it's downloaded)?

Is it best to tell your AM that this traffic is coming from your ebook?

Are there any AMs that don't accept ebook traffic?

Thanks

I am sorry I have not tried this to answer you question but putting afiliate links in ebooks is a great idea, it is not something I have previously tried. Will now give it a go.

This is a great question that i have been pondering upon for a long time. Its a fantastic technique that can bring people to sign up for offers...let CPA owners now tell us the classification of the traffic

i don't think there will be any problem. yes but if you get huge sell then the AM might ask you about it but i don't think he will create any problem. i have not heard that e-book users are prohibited by any AM.

I'm doing this with clickbank products. I hadn't thought about CPA offers. It seems to me they tend to change too much for this though. Just a thought.

It depends on the type of traffic you used to generate the traffic and send it your ebook. So , the answer is on you .

What traffic source did you really use to generate traffic to your lead-capture page?
