No kidding. Not only does it impact this product, but I'd say it will also have an effect on the CPA network when they launch it.

You'd think with all the heavy hitters pushing the buttons and pulling the puppet strings early on, saying "just how good this material is" things would have been done a littler better.

Brad really attached his name and face to this. That's too bad for him.

I guess as long as the commission is high enough, there is no need to see the actual product/back-end/system in place/what you're telling your subscribers to buy, before promoting.

Sadly for the promoters, your subscribers will remember this this next month when you want them to buy through your affiliate link again.

Oh well, as long as you get your "special bouns" it should all be worthwhile. :-)

Pipeline Profits was a program created by Buck Rizvi and Brock Felt. Buck is actually one of the testimonial videos on the sales page. It was promoted by every big name......long story short, it was a mess from the point of purchase to getting emails to not answering questions, to a lot more.

It's not fair to Aymen to compare this to that in any way just yet. I hope it's a fantastic program.

I noted in the free pre-sell document that bidding on trademarks and merchant domains was a big part of the recommendations ... at least within that pre-sell document.

I used to do that and did ok with it until the end of 2007. Yeah, I lost some accounts by doing that since it's against many TOS. Being something of a dumbass, I had forgotten to really read merchants' TOS.

Bidding on trademarks and merchant domains can and will get your accounts closed, and commissions earned withheld. This depends upon the merchant, of course. But I can see why this great tactic was given for free ... since it's not a very good tactic.

Also, I would say that I don't blame Aymen for this. I suspect its a lot more complicated than we know. I think the gurus came in to help him but instead probably complicated matters.

Ok then that demonstrates to me that these guys are liars. They sent out an email yesterday saying you had to buy, because it was going to start on Monday and the sales page could go down any moment. Well it is six in the morning the sales page is up and they are saying the course doesn't start until January. I assume either they have the course and don't have the sales they want so want to use the rest of the month to squeeze out more sales or there is no course yet.

The introduction video also gives more information that questions of the credibility of Aymen and the initial sales page. It says that they had planned to charge a monthly charge but decided not to after reading comments on the blog which suggested people were struggling with affording the course in this economic climate. He tried to spin it so they were looking after their members and lowering the cost.

This is BS. If there was to be monthly payments this should have been clearly disclosed on the sales page and not in the small print. However, I think they never planned to do this but Aymen just said they have dropped the monthly payment plan to make it sound like everyone is getting a discount. Either way, it is disingenuous.

On a more positive note - the course content outlined on the videos looks pretty good.

shukes - not sure if I have misunderstood you but no one can have any conclusions on the first week of the course as it does not start until 5th Jan.

I've got my login details and I've watched the introductory videos. The content looks OK to me, as an introduction. Shame the actual course isn't starting yet though.

They have promised material this week to get everyone 'prepped up' for the start. I hope this will include tuition on how to get accepted into the CPA networks. Aymen hinted that there could be help with that, possibly with introductions.

My experience has taught me that it's difficult to get approved into CPA networks if you don't have a record of success. But you can't get a record of success if you can't approved in the first place :-(

In last week's email they also promised that on Tuesday (today) they would announce who qualified for the various 'first in' bonuses. Has anyone heard anything about these?

Maybe it has happened already, but I'm curious, what would a "guru" have to do to make up this potentially ding on his rep?

What has been done in the past, or has it ever been done?

I would probably come up with a killer product , guaranteed to work for almost anyone,and any subscriber of mine that show a reciept for a refund or bill for a lousy course I recommended would get it for free, as one idea.

Guess we are going to have to wait till January to see whats up.

It's no fun to get a glimpse of the man behind the IM curtain, Toto.

I have had some 'unfortunate' experiences with big-name launches starting when the course wasn't written yet, or when the product was still in 'beta'. One course left us in the lurch at module 3 for several weeks while spamming us with links to their old and outdated off-topic courses, all the while scrambling for content and telling us how 'great' we were. I already knew I was great, and didn't need canned autoresponder copy from a complete stranger to tell me that-- I just wanted to know what was in module 3...

Talk about learning IM the hard way. Most of my lessons are in crappy customer service and course creation and delivery, not necessarily the subjects I signed up for. So my b.s. detector has gone right off the scale on this launch.

I think if you have purchased this course, or any course that presents these kinds of launch issues AND if you have any doubts in the back of your mind about the commitment you made, it's time for you to reevaluate your circumstances. I know that things can change on either the student or teacher side and sometime things need to be tweaked a bit. That's not exactly what's going on here, though.

Consider this a new opportunity because you now have a chance to either re-commit and accept all of the newbumps and bruises in the newly revised offering or you can get out of it and move on. Your 'hunch' with thank you for listening this time. It rarely works out if you're forcing the course to mold itself into what you wanted originally.

As far as moving on goes, have a strong look at the sales page where you signed up. You did keep a screen shot PDF of it in your course folder with WarriorPDF before you clicked 'buy now" didn't you? Make a list of all the non-hype facts that attracted you. What kind of knowledge were you seeking from this course? Now find it elsewhere. Ask other warriors for guidance in this search. Reevaluate and sign up for the other guy's coaching program in the same area for the same or less money. You'll be more productive and get much more out of your new choice.
