Just as i was about to launch my first ad program in my adwords account. I was told that i have violated their TOS. I asked them what exactly i did but they refused to tell me. What i want to know is that can i appeal. Cos adwords is very important to my business. That's like the only alternative i have right now.

Wow, just wow, what exactly did you submit that make them ban you on first try? I tried different campaigns with them and have no problem at all

I tried several campaigns that were disapproved because of site policy. Some were direct linking to affiliate offers, some were to my sites. But after 3 campaign disapprovals, I got the "be careful you are about to be suspended" email.

oppps.. seems that im not alone in here.. I set up my adwords account, and activated my first $100 voucher. It says that I need to pay minimum $20 using my CC and I did not want to pay yet but I provided my cc details. Then I tried what I saw on the sample video on YT. Then let it that way. After a week when I logged on, it already said my account was banned because I violated ToS. I dont understand. |

They do it cause they can, simple as that, I know many affiliates (me included) that were banned for no good reason, but some obscure" violation of tos" Take it easy and try other ppc networks clicksor, 7search, looksmart, adknowledge, pulse 360, adcenter, aol advertising or pv: leadi impact, direct cpv, adon good luck and tell google they can go $$&&# themselves lol |

Google is no one to play games with they will ban anyone for the stupidest reason. They really hate affiliates prefer mom and pop business to advertise for clicks which makes sense but Affiliates bring them the most profit. Never had a problem with yahoo now ad-center. I recommend making the move to ad-center!

I was banned and got reinstated. It takes a nice repentant, ass-kissing email. And a history of not violating their TOS of course. If you've been flagrantly abusing them, forget it; you're toast.

Don't be so confident that microsoft adcenter will not ban you. They ban my account two months ago, after refunding all the money that I spent with their campaigns!

I am sorry to hear that. Best to find out as much as you can as to why you were banned. If Google won't talk with you, look to a fellow experienced marketer to find out why. If you want Google money, then play by their rules. It is as simple as that. Google writes their TOS and enforces them. You need to know them. Simple as that. Don't like the Google rules? Then don't play the Google game. There are other options, albeit, perhaps not as well-paying. |

If they banned your account you can try to call them, but chances are that you won't be able to get it back. So the best you can do is create a new one using a different name, CC# and IP address. AdWords has very strict rules, you shouldn't direct link, promote rebills without opt-in, use landing pages that are just an one page site, promote bridge pages (page linking to several offers), etc... Dude it is Adwords, not any scam site that will allow you to do anything you want. ![]() i am using adwards and about 6/7 campaign has completed with a good success and still the account is ok. just follow the TOS carefully. Google just need a cause to ban you so be careful. |

| What have u done basically in Adword program? If u have done one the following things then google will banned your Adword program PPC Advertisers who wish to promote products such as tabacco have in the past experienced problems with their accounts. Again, speculation from careful monitoring of Banned Campaigns is the only evidence fuelling this idea at present, but these speculations may help shed at least a little light on the issue in some way. |

What about the site that has beed banned by Google Adwords. Is it relate to gambling or tabaco?? However , you should follow the policy of Google Adwords.

The specific things they did tell me was wrong with the site I immediately corrected and resubmitted to them but no amount of changes to be compliant on my side resulted in them reinstated my account. They were always extremely vague and I finally realized that nothing I did would ever get them to re-activate my account. I eventually set up a nearly identical site on a different domain and a different adwords account and it worked for about a month until it was eventually banned because the shopping cart was on a different domain.

How is AdWords important to your company if you have not used it (unless I'm mistake by your wordings). Use Facebook advertising. It's more targeted, cheaper IMO, and you can test campaigns easily without much problems. |

That sounds pretty weird. They banned you and didn't even tell you the reason for that? Bad. What kind of ad were you running? Adwords guys are pretty strict about pharmacy etc... |

I got some campaigns disapproved for their silly TOS violations and I just pestered them until they caved in and told me what the issue was. Go to adwords, call the number for new accounts and fire away. Worked for me! Nick

I just got the ban email myself. I don't mind working within the rules of a network at all, just so long as I know what the rules are. Between the vague overview of policy and even vaguer responses to my declined ads, guessing was my only option (I couldn't call their support number on Skype.) Too many wrong guesses, and it's game over. It would be one thing if I were maliciously trying to game their system, but like so many people who get banned I was just trying to understand what I needed to do to be compliant. @afam4eva, my advice would be to try AdCenter. The same ads that got me banned on Google were live and running within a few hours on AdCenter. They do geo-targeting and have a very user friendly interface. The best part though, was when I called them up to sort out my payment details. After we sorted that out, my rep did a full rundown of my campaigns, and gave me some tips on how to make them better. My rep even offered to follow up with me tomorrow to see how things are progressing. The service I've received so far has been exceptional, and for that reason, I feel that they deserve my business. Google can go be god of Googleland, I won't be back to visit any time soon.
