I see a different answer everywhere I look... I believe, you cannot direct link to site that's not your own, is this correct? Are you able to direct link to a squeeze page? A single landing page promoting an affiliate product? What exactly are the rules because I keep reading different things... Many thanks to those who help |

Read the TOS on google and find out for yourself don't rely on Hearsay answers. AdWords Help from what I know is that they HATE affiliates.. you should think about getting other traffic sources that actually want your money. |

You can't direct link to a cpa offer or a one page site. Your best bet is to build a blog with 5 to 10 articles and create an opt-in form giving something of good value for free. I know it seems like a lot of work and it kinda is. Trey Smiths Landing Page Robot does it for you. Yahoo and MSN allows direct linking |

As Anthony said, your best bet is to built a small website that centers around the offer you try to promote. If you want to direct link, maybe you should try PPV or Facebook.

I've been running Adwords for quite a long time and still doing a profitable campaign until today, been there, done that, yet I still can't say, here's it's what Google wants, Adwords is like a living organism, it's keep on growing and changing, what may works right now can no longer working in a few months

They have tons and tons of rules... but here are the main mistakes that beginners commit: * Direct linking - although some people may say that they have had no problems direct linking on AdWords, it will be not accepted most of the times. So direct linking is a big no no for beginners. * Rebills - don't promote free trials or any other type of rebills on AdWords. The only alternative would be to use an opt-in landing page to capture leads and then promote the rebill with an autoresponder series. * Bridge pages - bridge pages are pages linking to several offers (like review/comparison pages), and they are no allowed. * One page sites - always use complete sites with 10+ content pages, contact and about pages and a privacy policy. * Email/zip submits - Google doesn't like them either. You have to put them deeper on your site or use an opt-in page. * Poor content - Always have a few hundred words of unique relevant content on your landing page. * Prohibited niches - don't promote adult, gambling or any other type of illegal or offensive stuff. If I forgot something I'm sure that someone else will post below. ![]() William
