I have tried my hand at a few things on this site. Honestly its hard not to when you have hundreds of people trying to sell you on the next big thing etc.

What I will say though is YT vids must be the easiest way to convert. Now, dont slag me off for not putting more effort in, instead see how easy it is to make money with this type of traffic. Obviously all you experienced guys know this but newbies take heart about how easy it is to start it up.

All I did was make a 30 sec vid using Moviemaker. No pics or sound, just the basic blue background with text over it etc. Put in a little spiel in the comment box alongwith tinyurl'd CPA link.

Granted I done this in January, its had 5 views and I'm sure 3 of them were mine and 1 conversion earning me a whopping $1.45 yesterday. The guy put a comment in asking was this a scam. But he still filled out the offer!!!

Obviously I responded stating it wasnt a scam etc, just a really easy way to win Gaga tickets. Yes thats my offer. Gaga tickets. No hiding and not telling people what I use lol.

The offer is basically a 1 field email submit and it enters them into a draw etc. If someone searches on YT for Free Lady Gaga Tickets they get a multitude of vids. If they click on yours and you have your link there, entice them to click on it and fill it out. Why wouldnt they fill out their email address if it means they could win tickets?

If you can offer something very valuable to them for practically no effort then they will fire str8 in.

I can see the potential. But I can also see the downside of offering a CPA offer on YT. Most CPA offers require the person that signs up for it to do, or buy, a bunch of stuff before they can get their free whatever. Most of them will probably come back and complain about it your comments; like your 1 guy did.

Appreciate the comments, thats why I was careful on what offer to put on there. Its not one wanting them to buy anything, just to submit their email into a draw for tickets, which is what it says on the vid.

It is just one video with few views and one conversion, but, yes, video marketing does work. There are many threads on this forum where people explain how they made good cash with YT.

Of course, as any other traffic source, there is the right and the wrong way to use YouTube, but you can definetely make a nice budget by using videos.

Congrats! I did a small test with high end Amazon items (Cynic Tube wso) on Youtube and I was not impressed with the results. Approx. 5K views total for 12 high quality videos after 2 months. Out of the 128 people who went to amazon after watching a video, one person bought 3 items resulting in a $22 commission. Saw some amazon videos on YT that were getting massive views and making money but looked like they were using payed traffic somehow (Jumpstart etc.)

It can be easy to get the odd conversion but you can upload a lot of videos but not get any conversions from them because there is a huge amount of videos on Youtube with other people promoting CPA offers and most offers only accept US traffic.

Plus Youtube disable accounts often when the videos get flagged so it makes it harder.

It's a good way to pay your hosting fee's though because you only need around 2 conversions per week with a $1.40 offer.

I am not stating anything other than saying to newbies to take heart from something that is really easy to implement and doesnt cost anything to try.

If you grab a hot topic area, something that is searched for many thousands of times then you could claim a share of the pie. I mean, its a pathetic vid, lets face it, but how far must that one guy have searched to find it. I dont advertise it anywhere or anything like that, theres no links to it, well other than here now lol.

Answering your questions, yes it is a strategy that can work long term. Not this one obviously but if you create stunning vids that people are searching for and the offer is related and really easy to for the searcher to complete then why not?

How can I say it works with only 9 views? If you search back to my initial post I didnt claim it works. I said it basically takes no effort to get it up there. All I done was post a crappy looking vid with a link and it got a conversion. Prob only 2 people seen this vid and one completed the offer. What does that tell you? It tells me to get creating more impressive vids and see where I can go with this.

Because people are tired of getting tons of promotional emails from offers like this and sometimes they can be near impossible to stop. Not everyone will fill it out, believe me. Conversions could die off quick with these kinds of cpa offers but if you can milk it then milk it.

And anyway, love the enthusiasm but go out and make another 1000 videos, you could have just lucked out with this one, not exactly rolling in the dough with this. Keep going.
