My advice is that if you're going to use Prosper202, do it on a domain that is on a separate IP from your primary site(s). The popular Firefox plugin Web Of Trust (WOT) has Prosper202 pegged as a site with a "poor reputation", and in their forum, they are collecting a list of domains that use Prosper202. Here's a link to what WOT users are saying, FWIW: prosper.tracking202.com | WOT Reputation Scorecard | WOT (Web of Trust) PPC Affiliate Tracking Software | Forum | WOT (Web of Trust) Not that there's anything wrong with Prosper202! Don't misunderstand. I just think it's wise to know what people are saying about an app, and then decide how best to use or not use it, according to your needs. For example, I'm a big fan of link cloaking, but there are people who think it's shady. Ok, I can live with that, because I know link cloaking serves my needs, and I'm doing it in the most ethical manner I can, but I'm not going to lose sales because of a bare affiliate link. Knowing that WOT is targeting Prosper202, I would not use it on my main domains, because I don't want WOT putting a red circle out next to my site name in Google SERPs. I don't want to lose clicks over the use of a particular app. That would be self-defeating. |

As long as I know, the only hosting company that doesn't work well with P202 is Hostgator. I've seen some guys suggesting solutions to make P202 works on their servers, but it seems that all of them end up creating other issues with the account (if someone knows a "perfect solution", please, share ).So your best bet is to buy another hosting account for P202, but, no, you don't need to move your sites, you can use the new account only for P202. Also, consider using the hosted version, Tracking202, it can make things easier for you. William

Hostgator does have problems with the vanilla Propser 202 (due to non-partitioned mySQL on HG) but there is a fix available which runs AOK. Having said that, I'm talking version 1.5.1 and before, haven't tried 1.6 on a HG account yet.
