Very good advice given so far ... I've been promoting CPA for a couple of months and have done "OK" so far ..
I agree with my esteemed colleagues though, go to WF WSO's and search out CPA ..There are some very good ebooks being offered very inexpensively

Hi, I can honestly say i have tried to enter 6 or so cpa networks and never been excepted, and i have been around this industry for a few years, if your after a really good source of networks to find and apply to try Offervault.com.
I found them to have a huge list and some great offers to be promoted.
On a side note, most of the cpa site i have applied to are from the states and i live in the UK. Maybe that why i never get excepted.

I really wouldn't worry about what's easy to get into, I'd worry about who's definitely going to pay you.

Most solid networks will take you in if you're honest with them about your experience these days.

I'd go with Clickbooth, Neverblue, Ads4dough, Convert2Media and EWA, at least one of those should let you in and more importantly they pay the top payouts on the offers they represent (besides going direct) and will always pay you on time.

You only need one network for a lot of reasons, but in starting out its really a matter of focus as well as it serving you far better to make all your money with one major network rather than spreading it out as it gives you more bargaining power and insider information.

No one is going to train you at a network, that's your job, a number of them now have "affiliate training" but it's nothing revolutionary. The real gems come when you prove yourself as a hustler and start putting up some consistant numbers. At that point you'll start getting intorduced to traffic souces and landing pages to help you make even more money.

If you put in the extra work and know how to apply (read the post above) then there should be no reason you don't get into at least half of the networks (probably more) that you apply to.

One thing to keep in mind is that its sometimes good to belong to a few networks because the payouts on certain offers can vary greatly. On one network for a given offer, the payout may be $20 and on another network a similar offer or THE VERY SAME OFFER can be at $30.

Similarly, not just payout, but they may convert differently across networks...again, even for the same exact offer. So belonging to a few networks help spread the risk, gives you more options, and more leverage.

Yep, especially if you are working with a smaller network. It's rare, but they can end up not paying because they don't like your traffic or the advertiser isn't happy or they are pure fraud. By splitting your traffic across networks (either manually or via script) you are reducing your risk a bit.

The main benefit of sending all traffic to one network is more negotiating leverage for payouts, but that's the trade off.

I'd suggest starting out with a lead offer. Converting a lead is going to be easier than a sale, and depending on your budget it is usually significantly cheaper to test.

I'm not going to answer with a network name, but you will probably want something with frequent payments as well.. not many networks will provide actual training

The easiest cpa network I joined was Lazy Profits. I filled out the app. and was instantly approved. I don't know is the process is still the same would think it is.

For all other cpa networks require that they call you and go over your app. when they ask what your vertical is ( the type of offers you like to promote) just let them know zip or email submit, tell them you promote mainly ups ppc never tell them by email.
Never give more info than they ask you. I knew nothing about cpa networks but used these tips that I was given and got approved.

That is not true, News Flash every super affiliate was a .... newb once. being a newb wont keep you from non greedy respectable networks as long as you show you are eager to learn and make it.

Networks that check your site ranking or how much you made in the past before giving someone a chance i think has gotten to greedy and forgotten how it was like when they first started.
