What I do….

I currently coach pick up professionally(dating coach) and am looking to "trade skills" with someone. I would like to learn the in's and out's of paid traffic(CPA in Specific, explanation below)

I was featured on the last season of VH1's "The Pick Up Artist", I was the chump on the right.



In anycase, I trained rigorously 2 years ago with Mystery, Matador, The Asian Playboy, and a few other top names. If you've read "The Game", you should know what's up.

I was a former executive coach for the ABC’s of Attraction & guest coach for Venusian Arts and have coached hundreds of men. I have started my own venture(The Alpha Asian) and I really want to understand how internet marketing works (Paid traffic in specific, explanation at bottom).

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Cutting to the chase…

I’ve worked with all the top names in the industry and if you just google me you’ll find tons of solid reviews on various forums.

You're not going to be picking up playboy models out the gate and I've seen the extent of what you can achieve with pick up and the art-form itself is EXTREMELY similar to a sales career. With 6 months of hard effort, you can expect to pull 8's and above (out of 10) on a pretty consistent basis. If there is a meeting of minds I will treat you as a paying client. We’ll begin with some skype sessions and depending on your availability and location, we’ll transition into live in field training. I currently travel and coach in all major cities.

What I’ve Done So Far:
I’ve gotten pretty good at video marketing, I can’t link it yet(forum rules) but just check out “The Alpha Asian” and our youtube channel username is “asianpickupartist”. I’ve also done a lot of work/research on a lot of BH automation tools.

So, I recently made a similar post in regards to wanting to learn SEO. I was able to get in touch with a handful of SEO experts and it was determined that there just wasn’t enough traffic that was “actively searching” for our product/service. The conclusion we came to was that perhaps it would be optimal to test an existing offer using paid traffic. Therefore, I would like to learn the in’s and out’s of paid traffic and it seems that learning the basics of just creating an Ad with decent CTR would be a good place to start.

First tip in affiliate marketing...Or copywriting... Since you plan to be an affiliate, copy is a must.

Sell the benefit - not the feature.

instead of saying: I'll teach you pickup

say...

I'll help you get you laid mayyyyne! You know this!

...something to that effect... Mystery man is an interesting fella.

Edit: I strongly suggest you read the book tested advertising methods by caples

Haha.... I actually thought about doing that.... though I'm not sure how you guys would take it if I tried marketing to internet marketers. =)

Dude here's what you should do. Create a digital product about how to pick up women, an ebook or video course or both. Then drive some traffic to it and get some statistics and fine tune it to make sure it converts well. After that, take it to a CPA network or clickbank and get affiliates to drive traffic and make more sales for your product.

You have the makings of a great product, here.

Screw being an affiliate, you should be the product owner or vendor, here.

Ok, scratch that. You already have a product, it seems? Am I right? Is that your website you link to in the youtube videos?

Well, then what I would say is you should focus on finding affiliates, as that could really explode your income stream.

As for paid traffic, there are at least a few great WSOs on getting clicks for one cent using adwords, you could try that. Then you could get some statistics about your product conversion from your paid traffic without losing a lot of money, and use those stats to attract affiliates.

That's what I'd do anyway...

Yeah.... I'm actually torn up about that, Ideally, I could just keep doing what I'm doing as a coach, but on the same token too, the highest leverage activity in any company is lead generation. I think Eben Pagan(David Deangelo) is a good example of this, he is KILLING it in the dating market right now, wouldn't mind being like him some day =)

We actually don't have a for sale product quite yet, I mean in the long term, I think I'd rather be in your guys' position. You guys are in an awesome position since you can promote any product whereas I'm stuck in my current niche right now. So I'd like to maximize potential in this niche but eventually, I'd like to have the same long term versatility

You know since that time we talked about google search and how people found PUA websites.. there are several ways to monotize that. Think about who your customer is..... not who you want them to be.

Thoughts on CPM vs CPC for the two platforms?

Sup man! Yeah, with your knowledge much more important than knowledge, credibility, I would definitely go the product creation route, which it seems you are doing. I have done a bit of reading into the dating scene and have been contemplating going into the higher end market for a while, but I think that is what your focus should be on. Sure, do your coaching sessions for credibility and to get buzz around forums etc, but that is a lot of active work. With a product, you can have a lot of passive income.

I haven't looked at what you are doing yet, but maybe try the whole list building and feeder product launches angle. Come out with smaller products to build a massive list and build credibility. This can be things like very taped recording of your current coaching sessions. The product launch model is great to build a list and that is can be the goal for a while.

Then when you are ready, you can do a massive launch. You will have a list and will have built JV connections through your smaller launches. I don't know the dating market right now, but that may be a higher end product, and you can even start to go the perpetual launch model and give that a shot.


And it seems you know most of the bigger players in the PUA space. Many of them have internet marketer friends that run their stuff. I know a fellow Warrior here worked with Mystery and then of course Eben.


So I guess what I am saying is this. Sure, you can go out and get traffic yourself, and if that's something you think you could be good at, then go for it. However, if your passion is the actual teaching and training, then you can try and build your business from the launch and JV angle. What you have working for you is your credibility, the images, the videos on news channels, things like that.

And remember, the dating niche is "moderately competitive" in the paid traffic space so it's not just learning the ropes, but then becoming good at it.


Anywho, just some of my thoughts. But I'm just a chump from Jersey

3. Live In Field Pick ups – This is truly cutting edge, we film and break down live pickups like the following:

Let me pass this info off to somebody I have in mind. He's a big player but already in the dating space...but who knows.



And I wasn't necessarily thinking CB. I was thinking maybe just some traditional list launches to build a quick list yourself (if you have a good product, shouldn't be too hard). The ultimate goal being to get even more credibility in the space and then roll out some other higher ticket product. Maybe a combination of outlets including a course, coaching, large seminars, then record the seminars as a course or future bonus...etc etc

The whole point keeping in mind that you will be building a brand...which it seems you already have. Mystery is brand more than anything. Sure he's a person, but its the brand, the language, the diction, that created the value

Again, I am not that familiar with the PUA dating niche as it translates into product opportunity etc...this is just me rambling

With the information you possess...it's not something people can make up and sell...you need to really know what you are doing in order to make moeny with your market which I bet you do know.

Think of this... Neil Strauss launched his coaching program... at 1,000$ (more like 997.00) for the first month and then 97$ every month afterwards.....but anyways...he was offering "special" information to the first 500 people to join, that no one else would gain access to...)

In the first day the program was open to join...the site lagged A LOT....but you know what else? Neil got himself 500 members in 1 day... AND each at 1 Thousand Dollars... that's Half a Million Dollars... in a days worth of work..AND the program he launched...was all automated...but HE still choose to give priority support to these 500 members.

Clickbank is good if you want to sell ebooks and such...you'll be bound to gain sales... BUT ...you shouldn't have to create ebooks as your source of income... think AutoMated....where everything runs on it's own, without you needing to do anything. That is what you could be doing...

Nice thread, nice proposal!

But I agree with the guys above, take the product creation route, consider creating an info product or even a CPA offer. I think that with your knowledge you could do great on the advertiser side.
