I hope it works...it is just a little tip and it takes time, but like anything you never know. I have some forums that I use my sig to advertise with they work great. You ask what great is and honestly for me that is anything that makes people buy my product for 5 or 10 minutes of quality posts a day

Slow but honestly there is no way to say 1 to 2 dollars a day!

I can guarantee you when you find a good forum and have a good system in place and have built trust you can easily make 10-50 bucks a day....you also have to take in the value of the list your building!

Don't waste time if you are gonna spam around a forum.

This is KEY!

DO NOT SPAM!

You need to build yourself a relationship on the forum before you start advertising

Thanks so much for this! I think I've found a pretty good niche to aim at, but I'm slightly worried the fanbase will by slightly small compared to others such as "weight loss" and "free ringtones etc" . Do you think it'll still work, but on a smaller scale no matter what?

I have had success promoting netflix via this method. Usually I will join a forum, make some relevant posts (10-20) to gain credibility in the forum. Then I will email the moderator to post a sticky along thses lines: "watch (movie related to the forum) here for free!" Its definitely tedious but has been profitable and once you have done it, you can move on to the next one

Thanks for this short term strategy.

It's ok if you're in a rush and need some cash quickly but I wouldn't use it to make a living online because it's time consuming and results are limited, as you said.

For the most part this is a short term strategy if your using it to promote CPA or anything with a direct link. Like I said before it can easily be turned long term by sending your traffic to a squeeze page to collect emails

Step 1-

Find a good offer to promote in a popular niche. For example, I have found success promoting "free ringtones" in my signature on forums based around popular teen music artists.

The tip here is to join say 5 forums and for a week just post a few comments over a time period.

Step 4-

Most forums may not let you direct link to another affiliate link using your signature. You have two options here.

The first I do not recommend...Post the affiliate link and direct link in your signature. This might work for a few hour or days. You run the risk of being banned from that forum.

The second option still brings me in about 15 to 25 dollars every few days and I have not touched it for about 2 months. Create a simple landing page, a 1 page review of several pin submit offers based around ringtones. Link to this page in your signature.

You may even want to set up aweber or getresponse and offer a free ebook on how to get free ringtones in exchange for their emails

The key here is keeping your posts up for the longest time possible

Step 5-

Give it some time and watch the dollars flow in. If you havn't made a dime keep trying and test different offers and "sentences" in you signature.

I know this still works today since I am getting conversions here and there and I know people how actually make a lot of money this way!

There is also the option to contact the moderator and offer to split the profits if they make a thread with your offer a sticky. Before you approach them with this, you MUST make at least 50 posts and establish some credibility and trust within the forum.

They way that you should phrase your thread is that you came by this promo, and wanted to share with the forum. Come off very non-chalant and don't make it blatantly obvious that you are affiliated. If the mod goes for it, then you are good money, and it is truly hands off as your thread will stay at the top of the forum.
