Hello Everyone,

My next tip is actually very useful and can make you some cash without ever spending a dime

Forum Advertising Via Your Signature

Step 1-

Find a good offer to promote in a popular niche. For example, I have found success promoting "free ringtones" in my signature on forums based around popular teen music artists.

Example: Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, The Jonas Brothers, and much much more.

Step 2-

Find a good forum that see's a good amount of traffic daily.

Use this link to search for popular forums in the niche of your choice.

The largest Message Boards and Forums on the web!

Once you get into Big Boards if you are going to use a offer promoting "free ringtones" then just search for music on the top search bar.

Step 3-

This is perhaps the most important step. Try to avoid "spamming" and focus on building a relationship with the community first. Ask questions, Answer Questions, Start New Topics, and so on.

The tip here is to join say 5 forums and for a week just post a few comments over a time period.

Step 4-

Most forums may not let you direct link to another affiliate link using your signature. You have two options here.

The first I do not recommend...Post the affiliate link and direct link in your signature. This might work for a few hour or days. You run the risk of being banned from that forum.

The second option still brings me in about 15 to 25 dollars every few days and I have not touched it for about 2 months. Create a simple landing page, a 1 page review of several pin submit offers based around ringtones. Link to this page in your signature.

You may even want to set up aweber or getresponse and offer a free ebook on how to get free ringtones in exchange for their emails

The key here is keeping your posts up for the longest time possible

Step 5-

Give it some time and watch the dollars flow in. If you havn't made a dime keep trying and test different offers and "sentences" in you signature.

I know this still works today since I am getting conversions here and there and I know people how actually make a lot of money this way!

Forum marketing is a powerful strategy for beginners. It's a good route for people who are short on money and don't want to write a lot of articles or create several videos.

Forum marketing works...slow and tedious but it works.

One thing I found useful when starting was to use forum marketing to build a list. You can still promote your CPA offer but try and direct through a squeeze first.

2 years ago I posted a link to a product in a forum I was really active in. I didn't do it really for the $ as I was simply answering a question and the answer happened to be something I was promoting.
2 years later and I still receive a notice every month that I earmed $10 from the 2 members that signed up thru my link.
But I never thought of joining forums for this purpose (it was right in front of my nose!!!)

Good info, but ringtones are dead .. with all the new 3G stuff people go straight to mp3 or music videos, don't you think?

Ring-tones still convert, but not nearly as good as before. The point here is forum advertising is still lucrative especially if outsourced. It can virtually be used for any offer you can think of. I know people who belong to Weight-Loss forums that have promoted CPA offers making close to $100 a day on auto-pilot.

It is all about how close you get to your community and then bam

I tried forum marketing a few months ago but didn't get any conversions. I'll give it another go though. Sounds like this strategy alone is enough to make a full time income from if done properly.

Not sure about a full income I guess if you outsource your forum posting you could. The point of this strategy is to help you build a income to reinvest into your IM business!

I am in the time management and self help niche and adding valuable comments to forums on topic does provide traffic and sales. I use a sig file and never sell just try to help.

hey chad! i've started joining some forums today, and aren't going to do this yet, i think i'll get a few posts on the forums i've picked first...

i was thinking about doing what you said, with the landing page. now, would i have to buy a domain to do this? do you think it would matter? it's only one page, right?

also, would i just pick something from clickbank to do this with (relevant to the forums i'll be posting on, of course!)? because i haven't joined any CPA networks yet, and i don't even have a site.

Actually clickbank does work for this, but what you need to do is target forums that are around "how to ..." and send them to that ebook.

For example, a forum around the topic of "do it yourself" home improvement.

So if we use clickbank's products on a landing page which can be either a website, free blog or whatsoever, but the point is to get the targeted forum users to a page where you have already added dozen of quality Howto and Relevant Ebooks or Some other valuable products/tools. i have already made up my mind on this and i was just waiting to gather some more information on this, Thanks for giving these helpful tips, ill be in touch for more in future.

Yes this is true I have actually found success with clickbank with a very basic landing page.

Forum posting takes time and patience, but if done correctly you can definitely make some extra cash. Be creative with it. Try to build a good list at the same time.

Is it a squeeze page or a sales page?

If I have an existing domain where I'm just doing a redirect to a CB product, can't I just make a page for that redirect instead?

For the most part I direct link to a clickbank product and, but I am always testing a squeeze page to collect emails

If it is a CPA offer I 90% of the time make a review landing page with a squeeze page

Landing pages are hard to give an example of because that is taking it from a tip to my secret

It is all about your own creativity 99% of the time when you copy someone else you will not get the same results. Instead focus on testing everything you do

Here is an example of a Landing Page for an Australian CPA offer. If your not in Australia you will get a redirect or set up a proxy.

i agree with you. forum marketing and your creativity to take people in your site with your signature is one of the best method for a newbie. because sometimes many site owner do not have much money to give advertise of their site from their own pocket. so forum posting in high traffic site is good idea to draw some traffic into the sites.

You can use w.e you want if you are sending them to a squeeze page and collecting emails for email marketing

or to your landing page!

But always always go over your campaigns with your AM

Some people use to promote CPA offers with their signatures. You only need to sign-up on forums related to your cpa offer and make good posts there. Great tips!

The biggest tip you share is making sure you are listing items in your signature that are unique to your niche.
