Hey warriors, I have currently been having a hard time with CPA marketing... My attempt at FB ads failed miserably, My articles are taking literally FOREVER to get approved (it's been over 2 weeks now and non got approved yet, and nowhere near getting approved anytime soon) I mean I've been learning, studying, trying, testing and researching for 2 years now and havent made even a tiny income that is stable... BUT, I am NOT quiting yet... I have been thinking about making a landing page and try to cloak w/ FB ads... Anybody wanna give some helpful tips or info? I don't think I can stand 1 more week of working at taco bell... I'm ready to cuss someone out now and I don't wanna get fired, I wanna quit, and CPA marketing is my only way out.. |

Why only FB? There are plenty more traffic sources out there. Come on, nobody succeed only with few tries. Thomas alfa edison made the bulb after 10K tries. It's called a process till you finally succeeded. Just keep going. If you want to stable on CPA, first, get on evergreen verticals e.g. insurance, loan, etc... you got the idea. When the offers are turned off, you can switch it to another network. |

The thing is, is that I only have so much money left to spend.. I'm almost out of whatever money I have left to spend and then I'm back to learning free methods and struggle to make 20 bucks a month...

It's really difficult when I work 5 days a week, give my money to my parents, go to school and struggle to keep my grades up, and learn CPA marketing... My job takes basically 90% of my time that I can be using to advertise and make twice as much.. |

Ex: 3 days a week write articles and backlink for your SEO project. ex. a "Truth About Abs Review" site 3 days a week read WF, Affbuzz, etc. on paid advertising and test Facebook Ads, Myspace Ads, Bing Ads on a low daily budget for a CPA offer. ex. "Cupid.com"

For FB ads, is it better to direct link (dating offers) Or cloak (other offers)? Or what would you consider the best paid method to be for a low budget? |

But a word of advice, do not broad target as a newbie. I still don't even do this. Targeting plain 18-24 USA Single Males on Facebook is a quick way to learn nothing about advertising and lose money. "Niche" the offers down using keywords.

What do you mean by 'niche the offers down using keywords'?

If you are talking about paid placements on FB it's not that easy man. FB is a tough sucker to get things approved and make some decent coin. I would have started with something a little easier. I know some affiliates do well with dating on FB but I don't think they do "great" and I don't think the profit margin is where I would want it to be. You might want to think of going another route besides FB. You can look into tier 2 stuff like 7search to get your feet wet and do some testing to see what you can get to work. I am not sure of your budget but sounds like you might not be working with a whole lot of money so keep it simple and take it slow. Don't give up just yet... There is hope man! ![]() Brian |

If you have not mastered SEO and the free methods then why risk your little income that you do have. I was making close to 10,000 a month without spending more than 50 a month for hosting, domains, and simple outsourcing using just free methods

Well I have attempted ppc.. First Microsoft adcenter... Outcome: lost all my money, not even 1 conversion Tried FB ads.. First attempt: lost a good prtion of $$ Second attempt I was excited: had 3 clicks 1 conversion... Then I let it run and turned out to be horrible so I stopped it I couldnt get a clickthrough rate of even 0.1 Then I get an email that there was a problem charging the account paying and I can't contact my uncle since I'm using his money In the process of attempting FB ads, I got into article marketing, bought a domain and wrote a few articles, they almost got approved after a week of waiting, but the link was broken because the domain I bought only works when you type domain.com and not www.domain.com So I resubmitted and now I have to wait another week or 2 I had a method which made me 30 - 40 bucks a day but after some research on that method I realized that it's probably a good idea to stop and look for something else And I realized that it's not a good idea to lose more money with FB because I know I won't be able to get my desired income or even break even.... |

Honestly, To me you just seem to be all over the place. Try to master some of the "free" methods first and do some more research. For example, article marketing can work, but it takes time and hard work. Keep chugging and working your butt off. I thank it is great that you are actually taking action. PPC takes a lot of money to really scale your campaigns, so if you do not have that resource right now then try something else. Are you good at web design? If yes, maybe try flipping a few for some cash. Writing articles? Do some freelance work SEO? Charge a monthly fee to do work Youtube videos? Do some marketing there. Hang in there guy! Good Luck |

Dude you should not give up. and the way that you are choosing is not the right way. i think there is a problem with your previous techniques. Cause 2 years is a huge time for this type of job and you can income a huge amount of money in this type. just by using Face Book PPC people are doing this. So i think you should share your ideas that you have done cause usually this is an unusual matter.

If you're looking for freebie methods I would recommend making lots of 30 second videos and placing these on youtube. I still do this and it works well, although not all your videos will convert. At present I would say for every 10 videos I make, about 2 - 3 make money regularly. The upside is it's easy and quick to do compared to article marketing which takes time - you need to remember that cpa offers are liable to be dropped without notice, so you need to move on. With certain offers, i.e. weight loss, you can change the link in your url if a product is dropped and replace it quickly, so don't mention the product by name in the video if possible. Just some food for thought. All the best whatever you do. |

Well yea I know 2 years is a lot of time but remember school + work takes over 90% of my time.. So I put in probably only a few hours a week for CPA marketing which isn't much.. And about YouTube... Can you show me an example of a video? |

I also agree with Cash37 that its important to stay at your job to get the steady income before you make the switch to CPA/IM. But, when YOU ARE making money online and are ready to quit, this is what you do...you get fired in CPA style. Every person that order through the drive thru, just slip a small leaflet promoting a CPA offer for a higher payout offer. Eventually you will get fired, but you may make some money while doing so! Just joking about the above, its an awful idea. In all seriousness, just focus on something "bum". That would be my advice. Literally when I started I was putting up flyers, building web sites for businesses for literally peanuts, doing classified and video marketing. All were a lot of work, but I needed the money and was willing to "bum it" As you are doing that, you will learn a lot and even learn how to scale those bum methods...all up hill from there.

Alex, Working your butt off will pay off! Those free methods work and I can attest to that! Just wait until you master those and move onto the paid streams of traffic! |

Trying to cloak your ads? Thinking only about quick cash? This will not sustain you in the long run. Think: What skills will you pick up if you use these kind of methods? My two cents. |
