CPA-Simple Pay Per Install..why??

Is it just me or pay-per-installs never seem to convert? I have tried running these offers for sometime now and they weren't converting so i tried to download some of the offers myself(with permission) and i couldn't believe what you have to go through in order for the offer to convert. After about ten tries i gave up because each offer has about 3 or 4 more behind them for users to install those before they convert, sometimes even two page forms to fill. I was like...wtf!!!..who's gonna install all these on his computer in order to get whatever u are offering them. Is it just the nature of pay-per-installs/download offers or its the CPA network am working with who don't have good offers.? Can anybody recommend simple downloads or install that convert just after installing and the networks which have 'em.

Actually, you should ask your affiliate manager network to know the easy conversation of Download/Payperinstall.
