Default What do advertisers gain from Email/Zib Submits?

Just curious why they are willing to pay us $1.00+ for someone's zip code and email?

my opinion .... simple , it's will make profits for them .Imagine you promote ipad 2 and if you have 100 email list of Ipad fans ?

So you are saying it is the power of numbers? If an advertiser has the emails of 100 people and 1 person converts on a sale, the advertiser has made a profit? I can see that...

But what about zip codes? What do they do with this information?

It isn't the zip code there interested in, its the fact the traffic is willing to give up personal information. After they submit a zip, there is a page with much more information to fill out.

It's not just a mile stone but they are able to access other information from a zip code, email addresses are more preferred though overall and some companies build their whole business around subscribers.

Big companies, such as Groupon - which has an IPO set at approximately $28 billion, not bad for a company created through CPA.

Email addressed are sometimes worth their weight in gold (obviously, you have to imagine an email address weighing anything at all). ;D
