Hi warriors, As a thank you for all the fine posts and quality threads I have read here on the Warrior Forum I decided to give you some insight on a new case study. This made me $160.80 net profit in 48 hours and its completely scalable as I can now "roll out" to better PPC traffic networks. Case Study: Make money by direct linking to a CPA offer using PPC Money spend: $120 Traffic source: 7search.com Affiliate offer: Dating site Payout: $3.90 per sign up Here are the steps I did to make this work and made an extra buck: Step1. I decided to promote a dating offer and went to my CPA network and contacted my affiliate manager to ask him what offers are converting the best with PPC traffic. After some email discussions I made my choice and decided to promote a dating offer that paid out $3.90 per sign up. Step2. I created a keyword list of around 6,900 related keywords around the dating niche. I did this by gathering LSI keywords of broad and high searched for keywords and then gathered more keywords from those LSI keywords. Tool I used was just the Google Keyword Tool. Step3. I went to 7search.com and created a campaign with 2 text ads variations and copied and pasted all the keywords in to the campaign. Each ad text had the direct affiliate link in the destination url with the tracking prefix "7search-###KEYWORD###" in the sub id of my link. This way I can track which keywords are converting and which are not Step4. I took the tracking code from 7search.com and submitted it into my Affiliate Account in the "add pixel" of the offer. Step5. I waited for the campaign to get approved and then I let it run for 24 hours. Step6. After 24 hours I went back into my campaign and saw that I had 34 conversions. I deleted the keywords that were not converting and I kept the keywords that were converting really well. I let it run again for another 24 hours with converting keywords. Step7. Another 24 hours had passed and I logged in and saw I had in total 72 conversions with ONLY 28 keywords (all from that initial 6,900 keywords). In total I spend $120 on the keywords and made $280.80. I paid 22 cents per click and had around 545 clicks and forced the campaign to a 13.2% conversion rate. Conclusion: This campaign is now making me between $60 and $70 per day. This is just ONE campaign and now I can roll it out to PPC networks that have better traffic quality (a bit more expensive) and take my winning keywords to see if they convert there as well. Oh, I didn't even test my ads or created landing pages to make more money. It really wasn't that hard as you can see but the key here is tracking and testing to make it work Now go out and make yourself some money! Thanks Fuad |

Also, the reason why I almost always begin with 7search is because from my experience they dont convert all that well so if I can make something work there then you bet your ass it will work on better PPC networks

Create a high quality content site (blog) with around 3 unique articles, images and also videos. Wait till it is indexed by Google. Have a front page article that promotes the CPA offer and write the article as if you are a person who tried the offer out. Dont make any bold claims just be normal and realisitic Send the Adwords traffic to that page and you will realize that it can even convert better than just direct linking to the offer

This is a good twist on PPC and CPA! Good job thinking outside the box. PPC is hard and scary for many folks, but you gave a very simple technique to find a winning campaign. This is very scalable and I think you could increase your conversions by creating a landing page and adding an exit script that offers a free ebook to build a list... Thanks for the tip |

Yes you are right, this is a very simple technique but people like to think that money making techniques are mostly hard and difficult Also, when it comes to monetizing, it can become quit insane at how I will expand. I usually build a lead capture page with phone number, do follow up text messages to their cell, do email follow ups, store the leads on databases to sell it to lead buyers and a whole whole whole lot more but thats another game

People have to understand that unless somebody somewhere starts PAYING for something the source for that referal is eventually dead.... sounds like some quick startup cash from this method but like you say if the traffic from 7search is not converting into actual sales then you will eventually get booted from whoever is giving you money for leads.....

I would say if they don't buy within the first 24 hours then they wont buy at all.....unless of course your selling something that requires a lot of thought like a house or a car. Big money products have the follow up sale potential but your promoting a dating site? your talking low ticket sales aimed at a tech-hip younger (broker) crowd. I don't see any longevity in prospects

Low end and high end products have the follow up sale potential even if its a paid subscription of 2 dollars per month so thats incorrect as well. When it comes to dating sites and I give them quality sign ups that match the profile they are looking for they have no problem at all trying to convert them into paid members or whatever the upsells may be. Where people are not able to see further then they are used to, there are always others who can look a bit further then them

Thanks for sharing, mate! It's a very good example. It shows that PPC isn't rocket science. Of course, there are more complex campaigns, but people can keep everything simple in the beginning, learn how it works and then grow their income gradually. It's not possible to deny that there are some problems that can prevent someone from succeeding, but it's all about learning and improving without overcomplicating the things. The problem is that most people expect for instant results, so some guys may get inspired by this thread, set up a campaign along the same lines as the OP's, don't make money and then get frustrated and give up. There is always a learning curve, so giving up while you're learning isn't a smart choice. If the first campaign doesn't perform well, create the second one. If someone follows proven principles and techniques and keeps everything simple, cracking the code of IM is just a matter of time. William

Well said William! We think a like. When you first start IM it can be frustrating and overwhelming, but that is part of the learning curve. This is a full time job and sometimes OVERTIME .If you don't succeed try try try again! Chad

Yup, it´s exactly what a lot of people do, they try and if they see negative results they give up right away. I like to see it as spending money on getting data first so basically losing money in the initial start up phase of a campaign and then reinvesting in the stuff that does work and dumping the losers. If you are aware of that then giving up is NOT an option

Hey Fuad! Thanks for sharing your case study. Guess what, i took action on what you said. Made a campaign on 7search yesterday (different niche obviously). Checked my stats, made $15 from $9 spent! I know it's not a big number, but still i made some money! ![]() I guess it time to scale. thanks again Fuad. |

Hey Faud, Congratulations for your success. Really appreciate for sharing your PPC experience and I am sure your case study would inspire lots of other warriors. You are a real example that PPC really works and there is a big potential with PPC. Now, scale and replicate your winner campaign. I am sure it will not be far to reach 5 figures a month with PPC to CPA.

Congrats on your success. I've been looking to try some dating offers as well. Maybe I'll give them a shot. So using their setup you didn't have a need for your own tracking like prosper202, or just opted not to? Hadn't heard of 7search till now. It took me several minutes to even find out how they were getting their traffic, as they didn't clearly have it anywhere on their site. Toolbar search..got it. |

Sooo many people should listen to this advice. People don't realize that keyword success is dependent on the price and margin you are seeing, not the actual keyword. You can have a keyword that isn't necessarily a great buying keyword or isn't necessarily 100% relevant, but if the cost is low enough, then even if the conversion rate isn't stellar, you could be making money so long as the margin is positive. Likewise, you can have a great buying keyword that is super relevant, but if the cost is too high and you can't cover your margin, then its a loser...even though by itself its a good keyword. People tend to forget this relationship.

Hey This strategy wont work on Google, Yahoo or BING. The target URL needs to match the display url, so you cant put your affiliate link there it HAS to go to your own site first. Nick |

| Thanks for pointing that out because I dont want people to be direct linking in the big 3. Like I mentioned in an above post, to make it work on Adwords you MUST have a quality content site setup from where you can redirect the traffic with your affiliate links. Plus testing and tracking would be different than what I did with 7search

Thanks for the post. A couple months ago, I tried running a dating offer on 7Search but wasn't getting a lot of impressions. This post made me realize that I didn't target enough keywords and tried to keep my keywords too relevant and tightly focused. I might try again with a larger keyword list and dump the losers as the campaign progresses. Rich |
